Nippon Kodo Japanese Incense, Multicolor, One Size

I have been leaning toward Japanese incense vendors lately because the quality is very good. The Indian brands are also OK, but they are a bit too strong, and the smoke (from the bamboo core) is overwhelming. On the other hand, Japanese brands are very clean, very aromatic, and very low in smoke dispersion. I have found all the fragrances of this Nippon Kodo vender to be excellent. The fragrances are very pleasant, the smoke is minimal, and the packaging and quantity are just about the same as their competitors. Not only that, but they are 30%-50% less expensive than the more popular Japanese vendors! I would highly recommend this vendor if you are serious about quality and maintaining a good, clean environment in your home. They have become my 'go to' vendor for my meditation incense needs.

I love these incense! A lot of times incense can be pretty overpowering to me, but these are perfect. I light one every morning in my shop and customers always comment on how nice the store smells. About a year ago, I had been gifted a Bodha Refresh box of incense, but to my horror when I looked to re-buy them, it cost $40 for 50 sticks. I shopped around and this sounded like the closest scent to what those were like. To my absolute shock, these are the EXACT same sticks but apparently that brand had been repackaging them and selling them at a ridiculously elevated markup. Now, I can get 400+ sticks for less than $15, which is an absolute steal for the high quality of this scent!

lots of sticks, virtually smokeless, nice scent that isn't too strong- even my mom who gets choked up at most incense and candles was a fan of this one. at first I couldn't really smell anything when I lit one in my office, but after I walked out for a bit and came back in I could definitely tell the scent was there, and it smelled wonderful. kind of a mix between a typical cotton/linen and rain, but with way more depth. a very clean scent I've seen people complain about how short these sticks burn, but I felt like it burned for longer than I expected compared to cheaper wood sticks you can find. though the scent doesn't quiiite linger as much as I would like, there are plenty more sticks to burn in one box. I'll definitely be buying more of this brand in different scents.

I love every single scent from this line and company. It is meant to give you the "scent on the wind" so not overpowering and really every scent has a subtle freshness to it which makes them unique. I love this one because it is that old school 90's water, ocean, fresh, sea, aqua, dewdrop etc. type scent you just can't find in anything anymore, but this smells much more rounded & sophisticated than those cheap perfumes, colognes & body washes we used back then! Burns for about 20 min. GREAT Value for this size pack 450 sticks.

Love that it doesn’t smoke, self extinguishes from the beginning. Fantastic smell, just wish it didn’t burn so quickly. Good amount for the money

This is my all time favorite incense! I first came upon it 10 or so years ago at a Japanese store, and could not get enough of it throughout the years. I was buying and using the smaller boxes with Like 150 or 200 sticks (don't remember). I was so happy to find that Amazon sells this incense and in a huge 400-450 count box! And when I found it, it was on sale. It's exactly like the smaller boxes at the Japanese store and I have shared with others so many times and they love the scent as well. The scent to me reminds me of a sweet ocean or rain. You would just have to experience this wonderful scent for yourself! It's not overpowering and the scent lingers for hours after being lit in my room.

My father gave me this incense before he passed away, and I’m so happy they still make it. The fragrance is calming, nostalgic and truly timeless. Every time I light one, it reminds me of him. Absolutely beautiful.

They smell great. Don't last very long, but I'm fine with that. Makes it great for burning during morning coffee or before people arrive. Requires a vertical incense stand, so be aware of that.

I love these incense sticks. Unique, pleasant and not too strong fragrance with very low smoke.

This incense reminds me of the beach, it doesn’t make too much smoke which is amazing for my sensitive nose

Si bien el aroma de estos inciensos es fresco... apenas es perceptible. Lo utilizo en una sala y rara vez se percibe el aroma, incluso en ocasiones tengo que verificar si sigue prendido.

Ich finde den Geruch sehr angenehm aber nicht zu schwer wie andere Räucherstäbchen.
