This is the best caulking tool I have ever used. It's much easier and less dangerous than handling a blade, and gets ADDITIONAL jobs done. Pros: there are many settings and uses, bang for buck, easy hold, easy cleaning, feels sturdy in all it's settings and I've been successful with all my projects. Cons: can scratch walls if you're not careful, and, if you don't clean the caulking off the device, it can get temporarily stuck

The reverse does not work as well as the forward motion but still a great, easy to use product.

This is fantastic, however the way that you install, the pieces can be quite difficult, also the long razor blade is great except for if you push down on the left side, it starts twisting off, so you have to keep twisting it back on. They do give you extra razor blades, which is nice. We used it to clean up an old bath bathtub that had a frame on it and it did get all of the residue off of both the tub and the tiles. Helped get the old caulk out as well. I just wish that the end pieces were easier to put on and had some sort of lock on so they didn’t twist off with pressure.

Thank God for these! My husband and his dad were using their fingers to straighten up grout edges, lets just say that didnt work. This tool is super easy to use.

This may be one of the best tools I’ve purchased on Amazon. It made a tedious task neat, quick and efficient. You will not be disappointed, much needed tool in your arsenal.

3-in-1 is useless for removing old caulk, the tool and the "blade" are flimsy and the "blade" is not even remotely sharp or hard, it just dinged itself up and removed none of the old caulk. Pressing harder just bends it. I haven't tried the spreaders yet as I have yet to successfully remove the old caulking, but even if they are good, that's not why I bought this. If your old caulk is super soft and already would easily come out with any old knife and just pulling, this might work, but otherwise junk. 0 stars if I could. The aluminum 4 in 1 kit works significantly better. Amazon will not allow me to write a separate review for the other "variant", so just adding comments here. The long blade on it worked well at removing old caulking, but can't get into every space. The blades for it are sharp, and the holder is effective at keeping the blade flat and taking the required tool pressure. The other attachments are of dubious effectiveness. The attachments are difficult to install on the handle and fall off fairly easily, so you have to be careful with it. I would give the aluminum kit 3 stars.

It essentially works as advertised. It does not do quite as good of a job as I would like in removing old caulking. With that being said, I do not know of any tool better than it.

metal scraper scars wood sills better than removing the old caulk. plastic scraper sort of works but edge wears down too fast. Ended up using my metal gasket scrapper-far better results!!
