I have been yoyoing for about a year, and this is all you need to learn basic tricks and combos or horizontal combos. Plays smooth but not dead smooth...bearing was little bit lose but its a nice yoyo.

Received the yoyo from Amazon, but after using it for a day, the bearing started making noise and the next day the bearing stopped working. Would not recommend anyone to get this product. Worst yoyo!

If you are just getting into throwing nonresponsive this thing is widely regarded as THE affordable gem.As stable as any in my collection.Thank you for making this yoyo.Do not expect all yoyos to be as good as this one. They are not. This one spins long and true.It is a best choice for beginners/budding jedi’s who have already learned their basic 10 regular “responsive” yo tricks, and are now looking for the perfect “nonresponsive” yoyo workhorse to run laps on while achieving their yoyo mastery.Also a best choice for any adult beginner. Probably THE BEST choice considering cost/performance.Buy 2, one to loan to friends that want to try, your heart wont sink when they/you bounce it off the ground...I have bounced this one once or twice it is still true and did not bend.Thank you!

Firstly, this is an unresponsive yoyo, which means it will not bounce back on its own. You have to learn a bind technique to bring it back. But it's totally worth it, because with this style of design, the bearing is free to move more, so you get incredibly long spin times. Overall, this is one of the best models that MagicYoYo has put out. The weight distribution is fantastic, so it's very stable, and it still has a nice heft to it as well, while maintaining maneuverability. I personally am not a big fan of floaty yoyos, so this is absolutely wonderful for me. Can pull off a lot of tricks and moves without having to correct the tilt really at all. Easily one of the top five in my opinion that MagicYoYo has produced. Would highly recommend!

The N12 is a fantastic yoyo for a very low price. There are a lot of yoyos out there with very little quality improvement that cost 3x or more what this does.Pros: - Excellent bearing provides good sleep time - Extra-wide gap is great for learning tricks (especially things like whips) - Good balance for gyro tricksCons: - Width makes chopsticks or similar tricks that require small spacing tougher - Unclear what the life of the bearing will end up being. 6 months in, there's definitely some wear, but it hasn't effected how it plays at all. - I hear the quality control can be a little spotty on these and some people have reported getting duds. Doesn't seem that common as several people I know got one and have had no issues, so no ding on the review score for that.

This is my second yoyo (my first was a yoyo factory velocity), and I can't believe how well it has performed. It's completely unresponsive and plays very smoothly. The sleep time is great... mine spins for just over 3 minutes if I keep it straight while it's spinning and about 1.5 on it's own. I have put lube on mine which could've shortened the sleep time. I've owned this yoyo for 2 months now and it's still working perfectly. Four of my friends bought different magic yoyos, but in my opinion the n12 outperforms them. The other magic yoyos I've tried are the t5, t6, n9, and the k8. After mine, I would say the t5 and n9 tie for second, the k8 is third, and the t6 is fourth.

I liked the color of the yoyo. The bearing is also amazing, but the issue is the size of the bearing. I got this for me younger brother and when we used it; we thought we broke it. When I attempted to reassemble it, I found the issue. The yoyo doesn't tighten on the bearing, I think the bearing is just oversized. Maybe it's just a malfunctioned yoyo, because the quality seems high.
