DashMat 1424-00-79 Original Dashboard Cover Chevrolet and GMC (Premium Carpet, Cinder)

We've ordered three of these and installed them on all three of our vehicles. We live in a very hot and dry climate and the dash boards frequently begin to crack. We're very happy with the fit and the color and the appearance. We just slide them in and leave them loose and don't use the sticky tape to adhere to the dash. We have no problems with it staying in place.

I purchased the smoke colored cover for the standard gray dashboard of my Yukon. The color matched the color of the dash exactly. I bought it to reduce the glare that bounces off the dash onto the windshield. It does that very well. Of course, you can still see the reflection of the vents at the base of the windshield but they are very low and don't cause a problem. The fit is very nice. I didn't even check to see if there is a way of adhering the mat to the dash because I prefer to keep it loose for easy removal. Very satisfied.
