The doll looks beautiful displayed in the packaging because there is a snowy scene in the background, with a reindeer, so she looks really Christmas-y. The red/gold earrings and tiara also add a really luxurious touch to the doll, and the floaty white netting over satin effect of the skirt adds a surprisingly snow-like touch.
