Perfect book for finding waterfalls!
I highly recommend this book if you are wanting specific information on finding great waterfalls. The author is VERY thorough is explaining the place to stop, the level of difficulty of the trail and how long it takes to get to the falls. LOVED this book!!!

Great informative guide
Lists waterfalls in order of their location as your drive. Covers into Thunder Bay, Ontario and northern Wisconsin as well as the North Shore of Minnesota. Pictures from each waterfall. Describes the walk in to see them with distance, hardness of walk and condition of the trail (in 2015). Good narrative along with a viewing rating of the location. Book claimed to be in very good condition. It wasn’t. It was in excellent shape and as good as new!

Helpful & informative
This is an excellent book. It's very well laid out with many great pictures. The authors supply everything you need to know about the falls. They clearly explain where the trails are and the level of difficulty for hiking. All the details you need to find and explore the many falls are in this great book. I highly recommend.

Great book with wonderful photos
Great book with wonderful photos. I think some of the directions on how to get to some of the waterfalls is lacking information and sometimes confusing. They should tell you how far away some of these lesser known waterfalls are from a major city such as Duluth. For instance, Two Island River, they say head northeast on Hwy 61. From where??? Mars? They do not even give you a mile marker on the location. Sure they say Taconite Harbor but you better have a very detailed map showing you where Taconite Harbor is! This is the only bad part of the whole book. They really should put more information on locations. It seems like they set it up as if the reader is starting from Duluth and stopping at each waterfall along the route to Canada.

Good book
Good book with great directions on how to get to the falls. Wish the pictures would have been better but oh well. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves waterfalls on the North Shore in Minnesota.
