Its a chunk of metal that dose a job. The mounting holes are 3 1/2โ by 2 3/4โ on center.

Didn't fit a Mitsubishi Pajero quite right, but I made it fit.
Great quality. I was using it for a 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero, a Japanese import version of the U.S. Mitsubishi Montero. I assumed it would all fit, since the vehicles are identical except for the motor, diesel versus gas. I was wrong.The bumper on the Pajero did not allow for the tall triangular reinforcement to fit like it would on a Montero. Apparently the bumpers are different, just enough to be a pain. So I had to use a saw and chop off part of the bumper to make the hitch fit, but by golly, it fits now. I could have specially ordered the correct hitch for this pajero from Japan, but it'd cost over twice as much as this one. I hated to chop off anything from an all original bumper, but I did it. The bolt pattern was right on, though, so no problem there. It lined up as it should, and the bolts included were the same as I needed.The hitch is heavy duty, rated for 4000lbs and 400lbs tongue weight. More than I'll ever haul by a long shot. Good quality.
