Large backs stability
These are good for me because I lose diamond earrings. I just lost one earring and it had a screw back which apparently I didn’t have on correctly. I have to wear my other pair that doesn’t have screw backs until I can replace my other one. It does make the earring look better also as it stabilizes your earring

Worth the money
I wear lots of heavy sterling Native American-made earrings. The backs are often teeny - to save the seller some money apparently. These are just the ticket to make all my post earrings sit well on my ear. I tried the other versions of backs which have a large plastic ring, but invariably that ring separates from the metal portion into which the post slides. These will never have that issue. They come in a box with their own polishing cloth. I'd rather not spend the money for those add ons, but I'm very pleased with the backs.

Holes too small for earring backs. Overall smaller than expected.
I should have just gone ahead and gotten the big plastic backs but, I wanted silver so, tried these. When I opened the package, I was disappointed they did not seem as large as I'd expected for "JUMBO" backs. When I went to see if they'd hold my large earring studs up straight on my ear, I discovered none of my large studs would fit into the holes. Only my small, cheap earrings barely fit into the tiny little holes in these earring backs. After using a darning needle and hammer to risk the task of enlarging the holes, I was able to make them fit my large stud earrings but, they did not prop the earrings up as well as the cheap plastic disk backs I have. Not a fan.

GRABS POST SNUGLY!
I bought these earring backs because I lost one of the original ones. These are very large, but they definitely grab the earring post snugly. They are a little pricey, but I would rather pay the price, rather than lose my custom made Sapphire earring(s).
