Which is better, oil or softgels?

I'd say oil but it's preference i suppose. The softgels you dont taste obviously, to be honest the oil is nasty by itself but find creative ways to mix it. I put it in my salad, then put dressing and toss it so you dont taste it, and as well my cold protein shakes. Remember it cannot be heated. But if you live a on the go always eating out and cant find ways to mix it in with your food without heating. Id go for the softgels. Remember 1 tbs for 50lbs of body weight. Too much or too little is not good for you.

is this product Non-GMO?

Yes. The label says it is non-GMO. I think it's a great product.

How fresh was your oil when it arrived? ie. on the side dating how many months ago was it pressed/made? Also, what size did you order please?

The oil was made in May, 2013. I received it in July or August. It expires in May 2014. 32oz. This my third bottle and I am very happy with this product. It mixes very well with equal parts of a superior grade of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, combined with garlic powder, basil, and onion powder (about 1/2 teaspoon each) for a flavorful and healthy salad dressing or marinade.

It says to keep refrigerated for optimum freshness.. Will it go bad if I don't refrigerate it?

Yes. Udo's Choice Oil Blend needs to be refrigerated.
