Student 3/4 Violin by Gear4music

Bought for a daughter during lockdown. She was happy with it. I was quite happy with her practicing while I was at work.Great quality for the price. Speedy delivery too..

Real shame as this was a Christmas present for my son. The strings cannot be tuned as they will not keep the tension. The paint quality is not finished well and the bridge is a loose piece of plywood. Ironically the violin case is good quality. Have requested the item to be returned and my son will have his Christmas present late.

Wanted something not too expensive, but good enough to get started on. I've read other review on this product and one thing was about the pegs not holding the strings in tune - mine holds fine. Took a bit of playing around to find that 'sweet spot' but if you push the pegs in tight enough they won't budge.Absolutely love the all black colour - looks the business, and the smell around the f holes....well....amazing!The ONLY snag is, I'd say the bow feels a little bit of inferior quality, so I will upgrade to a better one and keep this one as a spare. For that reason I'm not scoring fives, but the violin itself, whilst it wouldn't get you a place in the London Philharmonic, its sound is good enough to get you started and sounds half decent when you get the notes right - and with a better bow. Love the look of it too and will be getting a display stand for it.

Bought 2 of these for friends girls who wanted something different. They each have a an idea and with vinyl I managed to transform them. Great build quality and case etc good value that good even bought a keyboard from company for son

I think this is definitely a good beginner violin. The case is super and so it the general packaging of the item. It’s simple to instal and get started. However, the pegs of the violin aren’t great and it’s proving to be difficult to tune and keep it tuned.

Bought this for niece as she was taking lessons..She started screaming .. the colour and she had a queue of friends at school wanted to exchange theirs for her one.lolOutstanding value and I'm very happy with purchased and deliver.. Thank you Gear4music

Arrived broken. We had to drill a new hole into one of the tuning pegs as the one pre drilled was both in the wrong place and not even a hole but more of a scuff on the peg. You could tell at first glance it was broken. Good job we checked it to avoid disappointment of our son in his birthday. I would only buy this as a bit of fun not a serious instrument.

Fantastic starter violin, and looks beautiful too. My first violin but I have found it very easy to progress with, and the violin very playable, with a very good sound given the cheap price!

Ideal para niñ@s que empiezan a familiarizarse con el instrumento. Los comentarios que dicen que “no suena” es porqué o bien no han colocado el puente o bien porqué no han puesto resina en el arco. Lo recomiendo para peques de a partir de dos años.
