Really good present. Kids will love it and adults can have fun too. Instructions are rubbish though, just turn it in ask connect the Bluetooth, the rest is easy to figure out. Saw another review about the charger? So far no problems but I wouldn’t leave it charging when I wasn’t there. Other than that - 5/5

As the microphone charger caught fire, I cannot give the product more than 1 star.The entire package is now at the rubbish tip.

Unable to use due to damaged charging port. Nightmare trying to return to get a refund.

It barely holds a charge get to sing about one song and it cuts off very disappointed and wasted my money and can’t send it back due to no printer etc very sad

Fab! Works really well kids love it.

I reviewed the pink model of the microphone, and it must be the brightest pink product I have ever seen- no bad thing as this device is meant to liven up parties and play dates. The microphone has a very solid feel and build quality.I found the instructions a bit impenetrable - but the Bluetooth connection to my phone was easy enough to make, and then I just started fiddling with the microphone, and worked things out in a few minutes.This microphone will be very useful at a party- here’s to having parties again some time in 2021. The microphone can simply play music, and does so at a good volume. However the fun really begins when using the microphone to sing along, karaoke style.Another layer of fun can be found in the different voice modes, which add effects to produce the effect of a child, man, woman and even a pretty scary sounding monster.The coloured lights add to the party atmosphere - the lighting bears some relationship to the music, but I couldn’t quite figure it out!There is an option to upload music files directly from an SD card, and this obviously frees up an adult’s smartphone and makes the microphone an all-in-one music player and karaoke machine.I would have like more straightforward instructions, and perhaps a clearer layout of the main controls, but otherwise I recommend this as a toy for children who like singing along to, and generally enjoying, music.

This microphones provides hours of fun, not just for children but the adults too! We have really enjoyed having family karaoke song and dances and it’s been some light relief during lockdown. There are so many functions and it’s really clever. It can link to your phone, play radio and play mp3s off a SD card (we owned one already but they are fairly easy/cheap to buy). You can use it as a speaker or a mic and sing along to the tunes. We have found the SD card really helps as we can upload their favourite tunes and they aren’t dependent on our devices. I would recommend using it with one of those if it is for younger children.Having said that when we are using it with them, the Bluetooth feature lets us use our music subscriptions to play any tune and it was great when we had a family disco for my son’s birthday on zoom as we could play tunes requested from all relatives.I would have given it five stars but stuck with 4 as it takes a while to work out the controls. Not the easiest for younger ones to operate. Even as an adult there is abit of ‘press this and see what happens’ but we have it sussed now. The instructions are limited so if it is a present I’d advise setting up before and checking the features. Plus charge it ready for the big day.I think it is an excellent gift option and would be well received by most children.
