Works for my Dad.
I & my Dad play pool every Sunday when I visit him. I bought it to replace the one that got broke. My Dad uses it all the time because of his back.

Good but didn't fit old cues.
I bought this to put on an old cue but it didn't fit. With the tip on it was too big and with the tip off it was too small. Instead I went to Lowe's and bought a 7/16" x 48" dowel for $1.50 and it was perfect. :-)
