This book deserves 10 out of 5 stars. It is perfect for anyone starting on their path or wants a little more information about other paths. There is no judgement anywhere in this book and it was written with an open mind. "I want you to see all the possibilities for magic, and to empower you to create even more magical possibilities for future witches." (pages 19-20) I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I really really loved this book! I read it in an hour! A definite “go to” book if your beginning your journey of witchcraft!

Wow, I never realized how many different types of Witches there are out there. The information is fantastic and wonderful. I now know as I look around my room why I have had such an interest in the small to medium crystal balls, gem stones, seashells, sand, crystals, feathers and incense. Very enlightening and exciting book.

With all of the new types of witches in this day in age, this is a great read to see where you connect and to assist you in finding your path. The author shares her personal story, which is wonderful for this topic. I personally want to know the author of the book is someone I can resonate with and not just someone pretending to understand. There wasn't any nonsense and everything was easy to understand. You could feel the passion that went into this book with intent to help as many readers as possible. This book was truly enlightening and a great read for all. I highly recommend adding it to your collection.

I read this book for a friend. I didn’t have much hope going into it because I believe the whole “types of witches” thing is misleading and fundamentally flawed, but I tried to set aside my prejudice and focus on what the author had to say. She lists 31 types of witches, and gives descriptions, strengths, and probable activities of each so that you might recognize yourself in a type. I found the types she chose to be a baffling assortment that suggested a kind of hierarchy. Some types, such as chaos witch and eclectic witch, were not delineated from one another at all. Others, like thunder witch, were completely made up. Still others, like green witch and hereditary witch, shouldn’t be compared because they’re not comparable quantities. One describes a type of practice and the other describes ancestry. Scholarship is completey ignored. I ended up disliking this book for completely different reasons than I thought I would and would only recommend it to people whose main hobby is taking BuzzFeed quizzes.

I'm hoping you give this book a read. You won't find guidance or rules. Just a really nice guide to help you explore the different types of witches. As a longtime eclectic witch myself (read the book and you'll know what that means), I read everything and I genuinely enjoyed the different descriptions and positive voice of the writer. This is a great book for helping the beginning witch along their path.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I spent some time on myself with it, as I'm usually consumed with thoughts of others this book allowed me to look deeply inside of myself. Thanks for writing this Julie

This book gives a very simple yet concise description of every Witch Type commonly heard of & was a fun & interesting read. I just got inspired to read the entire series of books written by Julie Wilder! 👍Great book❤️
