Pretty and Practical
I wanted an easy to care placemat. It’s more pink than red but I don’t mind. The texture is linen like, very thin, so if you intend to use it to protect the table from extreme temperatures, this is not the product for you. In my house, it works just fine.It hasn’t been washed yet, I’ll update on this topic later on.

My St. Pat's day table decor
I wanted "green" stuff for St. Pat's day. These were the napkins I chose. They are nice heavy weight. I put them in the washer, on hot, and they probably shrunk a bit, but they're cotton, so of course they will shrink. Does it matter ? Nope. Not to me. I pull them out and usually I lay them on the dryer and smooth them out with my hands ( finger press?) but I was distracted and put them in the dryer. Oops. They came out great. I have a few hem=-lines that are a bit crunched up, but if I spray them with my mister, I can smooth them out ... perfect! I love the DII napkins. Most of them are heavy weight 100% cotton and I love all of the colors I have purchased so far. We moved to a "retirement house" that's big enough for the full family, so I'm anticipating all of the holidays with family and of course that means needing pretty and fancy napkins. I've bought the Flamingo pink,, blues, green, orange, black and more - the black and orange weren't as heavy weight as the other colors, but really, I am totally happy with my every day use type napkins. DII is my go-to for napkins. They come out of the dryer pretty darn smooth. If you want to use them for company, I just fold them in half, then fold the outter edges in, so the "fourth" type fold puts the hemlines to the center to hide any wrinkles. Works great. No ironing required.I love these napkins. It's my favorite brand!
