I LOVE IT AND USE IT AT NIGHT ON MY FACE. IT IS SMOOTH.

I'm all about the ingredients in this product just as I was with a product called Waxelene. I'd prefer this was organic (like Waxelene) but I made a choice to choose this and try it for my super dry hands. I first bought a small sample to try it before investing in a larger amount because, let's face it... this product is an investment and not by any means cheap. The texture of this product is smooth and enjoyable. It is a softer texture than Waxelene and replaces the organic soybean oil in Waxelene with conventional olive oil. I often wonder why we can't just get everything in one product that we want. There's always something! I have been using it regularly, meaning several times a day. I have found that between washings, my hands remain almost as dry overall as they were before. That is not to say that it doesn't, if applied immediately after washing my hands, serve as a very good skin protectant between washings. Note: I experienced the same thing with Waxelene. Great skin protectants but not the greatest moisturizers.However, I have found a different and unexpected surprising use for it. I can't say for certain that Waxelene would do the same in this respect but I'm going to try it. I've always had bumps on my upper arms and legs at times where they the skin doesn't feel quite smooth. Some might call it keratosis pillaris. I've found that application of this in those areas has essentially made it disappear within a couple days of use. Amazing! I will be trying Waxelene and seeing if it has the same effect but with the added benefit of an organic product.
