3D Hologram Projector Pyramid Toy for Smartphones

This is very cool. I gave it to a 10 yr old for Christmas and at first they weren't very interested because it doesn't have any bells or whistles right out of the box. But when I sat down and helped him put it together he was very engaged and could do most of it himself. But I would recommend that adults help preteens. It did seem a little flimsy but all the parts fit together very easily. No fighting or twisting anything to get them to fit. My cousin is a YouTube fanatic so he was more than happy to look up videos for this. It was really engrossing and exciting for the whole family. I thought that maybe he would get bored of it but 3 weeks later he still plays with it and shows all his friends.

Crap. Find another alternative. The frame is uncessary, can be thrown away. The piramid is made of cheap plastic. Does not reflect well. And it is quite small. This is phone-sized, not tablet-sized. All the effects will show up ridiculously small. My 4-year old daughter was not impressed at all, and neighter was I.

This was a neat toy for my kids to teach them about animations and Pepper's Ghost.

Too small. Not really worth the money. Easy to make. Hobyists should try to build a larger model for the iPad.

Hard to stick the pyramid to the pads. One edge of the pyramid will not stick down no matter what.

My wife and I love this product as adults. I wasn't even aware there were 3D hologram videos available online until I found out about this. This is a well made item and is fun to use. It is a kit you have to put together. The 3D effect is really cool. Shared it with lots of my adult friends that had also never seen anything like it and they were mesmerized. Most said they would make great stocking stuffers for their grandkids. The only issue is removing the protective paper on the black plastic pieces, just take your time. I would definitely recommend this and the delivery was fast.

You have to assemble it yourself. It's tricky to get right - you have to fold and line up the plastic properly and get it just right on a sticky base ... then it slowly comes off the sticky base over time. The holograms don't look right since it's so hard to assemble it just right - overall it's too flimsy.
