Icon Books Introducing Evolution: A Graphic Guide

This book is very good start for someone with the rising interest in biology. It goes very slowly, but deeply and explain the phenomenon of evolution from many possible angles. For me, reading it was a journey full of pleasant discoveries about nature, biology and history.Discussion got steered to DNA and genetics quite soon in the book, but later on there are many concepts explained, like for example classification systems, origin of life, and many hints on psychology, religion, medicine, biology, human biology, genetics, and some other topics. All this together brings many insights into the workings of organisms ( our bodies ) or nature in general.The text is really dense and requires an review ( at least one ), as every new reading or even exposure to the graphics, diagrams, graphs, and pictures in the book sometimes brings some new insight or understanding. So enjoy.

Really insightful introduction to evolution. I'm having some basic knowledge about evolution theory but it nonetheless gave me some new insights and ideas about evolution theory. Highly recommendable!

An unpretentious little book that covers nonetheless a remarkable spectrum of notions. I really liked it. I might even use it to introduce certain notions to my students.
