Great product for beginners
These make a great set for novice bath bomb makers such as myself. It took a bit of a learning curve and those YouTube tutorials sure do make it seem easier than it really is to make batches of bath bombs. This is truly a great mold. As you can see from my pictures, once I got the recipe down, the bombs came out perfectly molded and was super easy to get out. Even though, you should technically wait for it to dry a bit before removing them from the mold, I havent had too much of a problem mass producing with just these two sets. If the bombs started crumbling or just not looking/feeling right, I know it had more to do with how I mixed rather than the mold. Some recommendations say to take a spoon and tap the mold to gently loosen it from the bomb but I made this mistake and dented the top half of one of them. Now I just over scoop from the bowl and twist close to remove the excess and tap the center as I'm holding it shut against the inside of my metal bowl. This works wonderfully for me.

Easy to use, and was fun.
It took a bit of practice to get the right amount to make the perfect ones, but after a bit, you get the hang of it, and these work quickly. It is suitable for a DIY gift or yourself as a self-rewarding hobby.

Perfect size and work beautifully
These are perfect for bath bombs. Recipe is better than the one I got from Internet.

Ok for beginning..
These worked great at first. But after a few batches I am not as happy with them. The aluminum feels cheap, and actually makes me cringe hearing the pieces touch, like fingers on a chalkboard. If you tap them with a spoon or another object to release the bath bomb, you will find dents outside of the mold. I'm going to try stainless steel next to compare. The recipe was a nice touch with the order.. it is basic and good starting point for beginners.

... using ice molds but these metal ones are far superior and have made some of the best looking ones ...
I've been making homemade bath bombs for a couple of years using ice molds but these metal ones are far superior and have made some of the best looking ones I've ever mixed. If you're doing more than a small batch, you'll probably want more than one set of these molds though. Just make sure to overpack your mix into the molds and compress them as hard as possible. Anything extra can be shaved off of the bomb while it is still drying. Depending on how wet your mix is, the bomb molds make great forms for drying to keep them from deforming under their own weight. After making my bath bombs, I left them resting in one half of the molds (so you could have 8 drying at once with one set of molds) for a bit and they all turned out great.

This was the best deal I found here
Wow!!! This was the best deal I found here. It's a great product. It even comes with a recipe for making the molds. This was an unexpected added surprise. We used the molds as soon as we received them. They worked perfectly. Much better than the plastic ones we have. The bombs made with this mold came out perfectly, without sticking at all!!! I am so happy I found this product here!!! They work wonderfully!!!! I am recommending them to all my friends who I know purchase bath bombs, so that they can enjoy the savings of making them themselves too. I am so pleased!!!!

They do not connect together.
I was so excited to get my bath bomb molds. I ordered two sets only to be a little disappointed. They seem to be decent product with one major flaw. The main and major flaw with this product in my opinion is that the two pieces do not attach to each other. There is nothing that attaches or joins together the top and the bottom pieces. It is really just two halves that sit on top of each other. I have not figured out how to address this issue yet. I hope that after stuffing them I can keep them together with rubber bands or something else. Otherwise I will have a bunch of 1/2 bath bombs. I have not used this product for my bath bombs yet, but from the touch of them the bath bombs will not have any kind of issue sticking to the metal. There does not seem to be any issues with the product other than it does not connect together.

Great for making bath bombs at home.
My first thoughts when opening the package was "They don't clip together!" but after making the bath bomb, I realized it didn't matter. The recipe that comes with this product is great, and you can take the bath bomb out of the mold within a minute of pressing it together. The product makes a reasonable sized bath bomb that doesn't feel overly large, or small. See the photos for exact dimensions.I sprayed the inside of the mold with olive oil before pressing the mixture, and had no issues with sticking the way some people did in their reviews. Finally, This would NOT be useful if you are looking to make large quantities frequently. I made six to surprise my girlfriend with a "Homemade" anniversary gift, and it took about 45 minutes. (She loved them!) Great idea for you guys out there that want to do something nice for your significant other.
