I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would not hesitate to buy it again. It's 90% cacao, which means I get all the benefits of dark chocolate without the detriments of sugar. It tastes luscious and creamy, not bitter as you might expect from a product with such a high level of cacao or chalky as you sometimes get with some chocolate sellers. The cute little square of dark deliciousness snaps when you break it in half -- a sign of good chocolate from what I've read -- and each shard melts on the tongue with a full, deep, roasted chocolate flavor. It's made in the U.S., which I consider a plus, and is individually wrapped for protection and preservation. If you're new to dark chocolate, the intensity of 90% might be overwhelming; you might be better off starting with 65% and working your way up to 90%. As for me, Verse's 90% is just right.

Would have returned for refund if possible but, no returns on food 🥲. Opened 3-4 & all looked & tasted old maybe? I’m a dark chocolate fan but, was very disappointed in these for the price. And pictures were not color of chocolate I received.

I stocked up when this was on sale at Whole Foods. I think it’s great for a dark chocolate and find the mint to be just strong enough. This is by no means a “peppermint patty” but it’s way healthier and great when your taste buds aren’t use to the junk stuff. I have a lot of food allergies so I find little in the dark chocolate world that’s worth eating. This is perfect, for me.

For 90% dark chocolate I think this is tasty. I like the hint of mint included but I wouldn’t mind a bit more. This is no where close to being like a milk chocolate bar in flavor because it has almost no sugar. But it is not super bitter like some other brands I have tried. I also like the fact it has the benefits of cocoa without the junk in it like soy. It’s a pricey chocolate but I find it worth the extra money on occasion.

Okay taste but took me some time to adjust to slightly chalky, less than "creamy" texture of regular chocolate

I love the smooth rich dark chocolate flavor (it's not bitter) with a mild hint of mint (just right, imho) and just that tiny perfect amount of sweetness. Individually wrapped helps me with portion control. Highest quality.

I bought this chocolate product to satisfy my chocolate desires without irritating my pre-diabetes and to provide the heart benefits of dark chocolate. It seems to have accomplished all of my goals quite well. This version won’t satisfy your sweet tooth but it should conquer your chocolate cravings all well providing your heart with all the benefits of dark chocolate. They do make other versions that would be sweeter I’m sure but this 90% mixture did just what I was looking for.

I really like Ghrirardelli Dark Chocolates but they have 10 grams of added sugars and I'm trying to get WAY down on my sugar intake. These folks claim their 1 gram of added sugar takes away the dark chocolate bitter taste - it doesn't -They're edible but the taste is just blahhh - and the cost is steep - will not buy again
