First, the company has a good customer service. At first, I had some issues with the USB C connector. They sent me 4 extras. The item works perfectly. I had used it in electronics and to show some insects to my grandson. Picture is good. All in all I recomend it.

I use the scope daily at work for soldering/pcb rework. I mainly use it for quick 'scanning' of pcba(s) for process mistakes and also use it ALL THE TIME for qfn rework or replacement. I have a stero microscope as well but I use this just as much, maybe more because I don't need to hunch over the stereo scope and I also get a great range of magnification depending on where I have the scope height in relation to the board I'm working on. As good as the scope is for the money the adjustable stand is also really, really nice. Very smooth. Doesn't feel like it will wear out or mess up anytime soon. I actually installed the scope holder/ gantry portion backwards so that I can lay boards on my static mat instead of always on the scope platform. I added a brass counterweight to the stand base to keep it from tipping over due to the camera now being flipper 180 degrees. Nice scope. Consider it!

Easy setup, followed instructions and had it working in less than 10 minutes. Clear images.

I need a microscope that I can take pictures of microscopic plant bugs to identify. This was a nice-looking set-up, but the images were not sharp enough.

I have had endless USB power issues with this device. No matter what port I use, USB 2.0 or the various 3.x versions, the device will not power on anymore and I get constant alerts that it's drawing too much current. The "fancy" combination USB connector is a terrible idea. You're better off using a USB A to whatever connector adapter. The Micro-B connector inside the A connector appears to be shorting out, even though it shouldn't. The connector isn't compliant with USB standards. Most recently, when I tried to use the device, on removal it ripped the pins out of the inside of the female connector on my PC case. The cable wasn't jammed or wedged in and was pulled straight back by the connector, not the cable itself. The only time I've seen this happen is when there's a bad cable or poorly designed connector, such as the transforming connector on this cable. Other cables have had no issue in this port (I'm now down the port for my mic; awesome.). I guess I'll have to spend more on a microscope to get one that has a detachable cable with a modern USB-C connector.

I have received the product very fast in excellent condition. It looks well-made, but I cannot use it on my Android 11 phone. Google Play message says the app is not available to me because I have a higher model phone. The instruction manual advises what app to download for Android 10 and lower but does not mansion Android 11. (I contacted the manufacturer to address this issue just before I write this review and wait to hear from them in 2 days.) Meanwhile, I downloaded a USB endoscope and camara app that says my phone supports OTG (on-the-go) USB camara and invited me to plug one in. The camera has an attached unmovable USB cord that fits my PC, but when I connect it to the piece supplied in the package to fit into my C type phone (see the 2nd image on Amazon sales page to visualize) the connection is loose and the piece wiggles as I move the phone. The app I found works and I could capture an image for a second, but then the camera has disconnected each time I made the smallest move having the phone in my hand, sitting. I have to have it in hand in order to see the image while moving around with the camera, so the conclusion of the matter is that I need to send this back unfortunately. I checked the stability of the connection to the charger, and it is much more stable. Alternatively, I may purchase a new USB C to USB Adapter piece before I send it back, but it is a dissapointment. I wanted to try it on my PC too. First, I received a message that said: Power surge on the USB port. Unknown USB device needs more power than the port can supply. After a minute or so having plugged in the camera light came on very bright. I suppose it would work but give up wasting more time with it. I would need to use the camera on my Android.

Devo dire che questo microscopio è un gran bel prodotto! Dopo aver montato lo stand (operazione abbastanza facile ed intuitiva anche se non vi sono specifiche istruzioni al riguardo) ho provato il microscopio dapprima con un PC dotato di Windows 10 e dopo con un vecchio tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10" con Android 4.4). Windows 10: mi è bastato collegare il cavo USB del Jiusion e subito è stato riconosciuto dal sistema operativo come dispositivo "General Camera" senza alcun software aggiuntivo. Per visualizzare le immagini fornite mi è bastato utilizzare l'app "Fotocamera" fornita di default da Windows. Le immagini (allegate risultano soprendenti per dettaglio sia a luce (led) spenta che a luce accesa). Poiché, essendo tecnico elettronico, mi interessava vedere la resa con un circuito elettronico, si nota come il dettaglio delle piste del circuito sia davvero soddisfacente. Conclusa la breve prova con windows, ho messo in campo il tablet ed il risultato è stato lo stesso. Da aggiungere che anche col tablet il riconoscimento del microscopio è stato immediato e, poiché avevo in precedenza utilizzato una app gratuita "Scopecam", Android mi ha chiesto di utilizzare tale app ed il tutto ha funzionato anche qui a colpo. Che dire soldi ben spesi!

Quick delivery and excellent value. Works well with windows 10

The scope connects quickly under Linux/Cheese. It is not a 1920x1024 device but 1080x720, so certainly not a device capable of 1000x. It is closer to 35x. I bought two. The first has the flimsy round stand and the camera was OK. I also bought the one with the larger vertical stand that works OK but the camera does not focus well since either the center or edge focuses on a flat object. Still debating about return.
