Space (Magic Tree House Research Guide)

We love all the research guides for MTH. They are written at a higher Lexile level than the stories but it makes them fun to read together. My 6 year old doesn't have the patience to read through a research guide the entire way through on her own but together it makes for a fun project...she gets to tell me about what happened in the story to Jack & Annie and together we learn some fun facts about whatever time/place the story was about.

I loved it ❤ I wish I could meet Jack and Annie in real life! Make more books please! Byeee!

Kids are using this book in school as part of the Space learning theme. Easy to read with lots of info. Can’t go wrong with Magic Tree House

The kids realy like the animations and presentations of this book. While it is definately not boring, the planets themselves get only one page each of factual info in super small text. The solar system overview chapter was great for group reading and was primarily what I used from the book, including a photo of a meteorite in comparison to the size of children. Translation: great as a fun addition to learning but not to replace hard fact texts and in-depth lesson plans.----You don't need to read the accompanying Magic Tree House fiction book in order to use this research guide.

I love these books, and all that go with them. My son is obsessed with all things Space, and we have already read all of the previous MTH and fact trackers, but this was the hardest one to get through. It's so out of date, the information seems to be from long before the publication date of 2002 even. I hope that these books get updated through the years, especially this one!

What a great book! My son who is 7 years old is obsessed reading magic tree house books and he loves this one too. Fact tracker is a great enforcement for my son after reading the related magic tree house book. Highly recommended.

My eight year old grandson really likes these books. They are well written and profusely illustrated. Perfect to encourage the beginning reader. My grandson seems to like the research guides even more than the Magic Tree House 'story' books.

We have bought many Magic Tree House books for our son and never had any problem until this one. There are several not properly printed pages in the book
