Rough Country 3-Prong Wired Winch Remote | Waterproof Connector - 79-00017

Perfect for the RC winch. I had another winch from a competitor, 3 prong, same diameter on the connect that I thought would work. Turns out each brand has its own wiring schematic and doesn’t work on competitors winches.

My old unit was damaged. New one fit with cables and works well.

It's three pins they're just to big for my warn. Controller seemed good quality especially for price.

I have the Rough Country winch this drives. I bought an extra remote in case my other one breaks. These work okay…there’s not much other options. But at about $20, what more can you expect? The connection is semi-proprietary to Rough Country. All the other winch companies have their own pin pattern, even though they essentially all work the same. This is annoying! I bought an extra one in case they discontinue it or something. The connections are heavy duty/overbuilt. The wires inside are very small, so the bulk of this is just to protect the inner wires and make a secure connection…which I appreciate. Simple. Effective. Affordable.

It's a bit snug, but it works just fine with my Engo SR10 winch.

I live in a grungy major liberal city where people feel entitled to other people's stuff so I don't like to leave my full winch bag in my jeep. This and a couple soft shackles at least gets me out of some situations I've found myself in with a winch and no way to use it. I plugged it in and it works just as well as the one the came with the winch.
