Avoid!
Perhaps I got a bad one but this thing is unusable. it drops connections in the middle of use so don't be using an external hard drive with this as I found to my cost. I tried then to use it just to expand ports for things like headphone use for video calling - drops out there too. Tried it on both Mac and Windows boxes - same result. I'd return it but stupidly I've already thrown the box away. There should be an option of zero stars if something fundamentally fails to do what it is supposed to. And this fails.

Various defects
The ports are mislabelled. The LED does not come on. HDMI intermittently sensed. Network cable is only sensed if power is not applied to the power port. The power port label is on the wrong port.

Not Gigabit ethernet, only 100mbit. Otherwise all good, great value.
Good for the price, would have rated it 5 stars if a) the ethernet was gigabit as advertised or b) they advertised it as 100mbit a.k.a what it actually is. Other than that, hdmi works, usb ports seem to be the full 3.0 and it feels sturdy enough. They do bend the cable quite alot when packaging too.

The Ethernet does not meet the advertised rating although all others ports work fine

USB ports not working after 2 months use
USB ports stopped working after 3 months use and not recommend to buy to any of you. Waste of money. Not eligible to return as well after 17th April. Very bad product and service.

absolutely rubbish
After I had the device a month, I noticed a rattleing sound from inside it. After giving it a shake, a tiny IC fell out of it! Afraid to use it on my machine now, as it might have shorts.

Like others I have found this doesn’t work intermittently so is definitely not worth buying.

Produkt ist abzuraten!!!
USB C Hub wird erst nach ca. 5 Minuten vom Notebook erkannt. Nicht nur bei erstmaligen Anschluss, sondern jedesmal beim Hochfahren des Notebooks. USB Anschlüsse für Drucker, Maus sehr langsam. Beim Einschalten des Notebooks und nach Erkennung des USB-C Hub dauert es ca. 5- 7 Minuten bis man die Maus betätigen kann, wenn sie über diesen USB C Hub mit dem Notebook verbunden wird. Ich bin nicht zufrieden mit diesem Produkt.
