This came in two boxes and took over a month to get here. The shipping was pretty costly as well. This is very sturdy for a child's bunk bed. I got on the top bunk as a grown adult and it did not flex. The slid is a little steep, my two year old is not a fan. He threw a toy at it and it dented it on the first day. I would probably buy one with a removable slid but this is perfect for what I need and the kids love it. They play on it all day. I like that there is a little storage by the steps for extra blankets, it's also a good hiding place.

Instructions sucked and hard to assemble. Tool that came along with it stripped out and hubs had to find his own tool. The only positive is the kids are enjoying it. It is very small, read measurements because I didn't and it's small. My youngest (very tiny, just turned 5) busted his head getting out from bottom bunk. I'm glad for the 5 year warranty because I'm not sure how well it's going to hold up.(my boys are rough) It will be an utter pain though to take apart I think. We shall see. I have mixed feelings because of all those facts but also the kids are loving it. Also, the slide is also simply wood. I did not catch that until husband unboxed it.
