BEST LAWN MOWER EVER MADE
I have had over 35 years- Snapper Very Good for 10 years and the last 25 with this same machine. It broke and I bought the exact same machine. PLEASE HONDA bring it back to life. This is now discontinued SAD!

Powerful mower - well built. Tackled 2 overgrown acres easily.
We have about 2 acres of prairie grass. After much research, I settled on this mower. My first use was to tackle the 12 inch tall grass. The mower muscled thru it with no problem. It also cut down small snowberry and Nootka rose shoots easily. I love this thing. The clutch / blade mechanism is easily learned after a few minutes. I’m very happy with the mower. It starts after one or two pulls. The engine is not overly loud.

Has not worked correctly since the first time we started the mower!
We have had no support from the manufacture, the only suggestion was to take it to a local dealer or to return the mower at our expense. We took the mower to (Northern Tool & Equipment) on 2/27/23 as it was still considered under warranty (only a month old), the drive control was missing pin and clip from the manufacture. Again was returned to the dealer (NTE) on 3/22/23 for service to the drive control, in September of 2023 the cable to the drive control seized up and and we were unable to start the mower. Neither the manufacturer or Northern Tool & Equipment would honor the warranty and refused to fix! We will never purchase another Honda product! Please be advised that the previous mower we had lasted over 20 years and was in good working order when we gave it away, Torro model!

If you’re looking for a gas powered walk behind mower this is the one to get.
My last Honda was purchased 25 years ago. Our nephew is still using that mower. I consider this model to be top of the line for a walk behind mower. I especially like the feature of not having to shut the engine off every time I want to empty the bag. It’s really a nice feature. Everything else about this mower is top notch and I expect it to last longer than I’ll be around.

Fantastic mower
Great product. No assembly required. Add oil provided and gas. Started first pull. Last one lasted 19 years and still runs.

Clean cut, easy to maneuver
I love this mower. It’s a huge improvement over the previous one I had (Toro 22” personal pace). The mower saves me significant time and produces a better cut.

Useless
Without a side discharge this is useless. Bogs down and can’t chop the grass under it to mulch back into the ground.

Great Mower with Caveats
I just received this mower and have used it extensively today. The mower is powerful, starts easily and once adjusted to your liking, does a great job of mulching (my preferred setting). This machine is heavy and when you're doing "tricky" mowing such as around large tree roots, around intricate areas that require subtle mowing, it can feel a bit unwieldy. For large runs from one end of the lawn to another, I haven't used anything better. The machine powers up and down inclines effortlessly. My recommendation is to run an edger first and then mow. This beast annihilates grass and leaves nothing. Now as far as some people complaining about there being trails of clippings, I have to question their mowing acumen. Wait to mow until after the morning dew has dried or when the grass is dry. Now mower is going to handle wet grass well, so that seems pretty ridiculous to ding a mower for not doing it well. Learn to mow. I am tasking away one star for value. Although this is a powerful and capable mower, but is it worth $1000? That depends on how long it lasts to be honest. Right now, I am happy with the mower and am pretty sure it will last quite a long time.
