Amazing! It will last forever.
As most dog owners know it's extremely hard, if not impossible, to find some chew toy that their dogs won't destroy. My German shepherd will NEVER use this up. We've had it about 3 months and it looks almost new. She puts it down for a day or so and then goes and gets it after she's cycled through her other toys. Well worth the price though it might seem expensive. It's not at all considering how many toys our dogs have destroyed if not on day one, then shortly thereafter. There's another toy of "Gumby" that I only bought because of the reviews, but that too has turned out to be able to withstand the shaking, pulling and chewing of a very active shepherd. I never thought it would last, but it has. I try to keep her from getting bored with a toy by switching them around when she's not watching. When I put them back she "discovers" them immediately like it was brand new.Another thing she loves is that crazy chipmunk tree trunk that has 4 or 6 furry chipmunks that she can pull out of the stump. She carries each one around like she's really caught something.

My dog's new favorite
My dog, Val, is a blue heeler mix, weighing in around 55 lbs. She's been gnawing feverishly on this for over a month, and I'm now quite confident it will last another 4 months before she finishes it off. My antler showed up well oversized, right around 14" long. It also has a nice 180 degree curl to it, which I was leery of at first but it has become one of the most adorable things about the toy because of the strange ways she carries and holds it. As others have said, there is no residue or sharp chunks left on carpets, no sickness after chewing, just convenient diversion of the dog's attention. It's not even as bad as the nyla-bones and such to step on in the dark (though it still hurts sometimes,) but it DOES have some heft to it and Val has a nice habit of angering us by dropping it right onto our feet. Nonetheless, I'm buying another one when this runs out.

Odorless and long lasting. Your dog will love it!
After giving up on the smelly mess called "bully sticks," I began hunting around for some antler dog chews. I bought a couple in pet shops that ended up being too crumbly, coming apart quite easily with stinky marrow inside. Although discouraged, I had heard such good things about antlers that I continued looking. These are perfect! They are very hard, but not so hard that they could damage your dog's teeth. Tobias, a french bulldog, is quite a strong chewer, and he's only taken off about an inch in the past month or so. There is much less mess, and it is completely odorless. Of course, there is still a little bit of mess, but you have to expect that when your dog is chewing a bone. Mostly Tobias chews it on his dog bed, but when he is allowed to chew the antler on the couch it is very easy to clean off the antler drool he leaves behind.

Less then expectation
I recently ordered an Antler dog chew, expecting a long and thick antler for my dog to chew.I get elk antlers on a regular basis, and they are typically about 9" long and 3-4" thick. This was long enough, but only about an 1 1/2" thick. The photo I saw that prompted me to purchase showed an antler much as I normally purchase. I feel that the advertisement misrepresented the product and I am quite disappointed in the purchase. The chews I get last an average of 3-4 months. This chew will last less then a month, based on her chewing habits. I am therefore, seeking a refund and planning on returning this chew back. I want my full credit including shipping and handling.

Good for destructive chewers
Bought this a long time ago. My destructive dog chewed it for days trying to win a victory in her mind. She did not succeed. It frustrated her to the point where she left it alone for awhile-if she couldn't destroy it then she had no interest. She is as stubborn as I am though and she started up again on it and has it a little whittled down.My only complaint was I paid $16.75 for what was supposed to be "X-Large 8"-10" Long". I receive this tiny thing that was maybe 6 inches if I was being generous and measured from the length of the longer bowed side. I just rolled with it though as it was the first antler I'd ever bought and I was tired of spending loads on messy chew bones. I rated 4 stars just because of the durability of the product. I placed the order on March 17th and here on December 10th it still exists.I now see on the page the different sizes, the largest being 4"-7" @ $7.75. The small is $5.75 and 3"-5". So I could potentially order one for 5.75 and get a 5" antler, or I could spend $7.75 and get one smaller than one that costs $5.75. I don't know if it is just an error or what, but weird pricing followed by questionable sizes makes me think next time I will order from someone else.

Best value Ive found on antlers for dogs
I ordered the XL antler for my boxer dogs based on the size antlers that I had seen in my local stores. I probably could have gotten away with ordering a large from this company...the XL is a huge elk antler. Nevertheless, my dogs LOVE this antler. They chew on it daily. They have another antler from a local store that they like but this one is their favorite. I like these antlers because they last forever and they make no mess and have no smell. I really feel like I got my money's worth with this purchase and I would not hesitate to order another antler from this vendor when I need one.
