The selection is important!
I ordered this specifically bc it had the two main types of pill pusher and I couldn’t decide between them. For the price I am very happy. The green one and the clear one are basically the same except one has a cardboard ring on it that you can take off for giving bigger pills. The plastic tips were a tad bit rough on one of them (little raggedy pieces of plastic hanging off) so I used a nail file to make it smoother. If you’ve ever bought yeast infection cream it’s the exact same applicator and easy to use. These ones would work for dogs over 20-25lbs but are probably too big for most cats. The red one is only for liquids and EXTREMELY HARD to push down. You can’t use it one handed, which sucks. Your liquid isn’t going to be wasted though. The blue one is the winner. It’s easy to plunge one handed and is smaller. The two different sizes silicone tips make all the difference- so you can give a variety of pill size/shapes. I feel safer giving the pill with silicone since it’s softer and won’t jam into the back of their throats uncomfortably. It’s EXTREMELY important you push the silicone piece all the way down into the plunger so it can’t budge. Otherwise your pet could potentially swallow or choke on a 1” piece of soft silicone- which for a cat would require immediate surgery. Honestly I wouldn’t use this one if my pet had a long enough mouth that I couldn’t see all of it. For safety I’m not shoving a silicone tip where I can’t see. My furbabies are smaller so this one works well for us.

How do you use this product?
Product to be used to medicate 19+ year old cat. Received what was pictured in the ad (6 pieces). However, there were no instructions on how to load and use each of the 4 different items. The syringe was obviously for liquids. My cat's on small oval pills. Had to play around to figure out which of the other 3 to use. Have no idea what the 2 pieces of tubing are for. THIS ITEM NEEDS AN INSTRUCTION SHEET!

The only way to dose a cat
I have a couple cats who have to get medications regularly and are very stubborn. It usually led to crying and pleading and frustration just trying to push it to the back of their throats without them biting or gagging it back up. This capsule shooter is a game changer. It takes a little bit of water and sort of shoots the pill where you need it to go. I don't have to fight anymore. It has made things so much easier. The liquid syringe is also very accurate and helpful at getting the liquids to the back of the throat so they don't have time to spit it out. The pill dosers are less helpful but at this price for all 4 I don't mind that at all. These are honestly a need in any home with a pet. You never know when you might need to medicate an animal and these save so much frustration. I'd post a video but no one wants to see my cat drooling because she knows the pill is coming haha. 10/10

Varied set
Nice variety of pill and syringe medicine dosers. No directions or information on which one does what. I had to look back at other ones on the Amazon website to see that information. So far so good with giving tablets and pills to my dog.

Works like a charm!
I've never had to give my cat a pill, but after a trip to the vet a medication was recommended for her. I've only used it a few times so far, but every time it's gone very well. The silicone tip is soft, but stays firmly on the device - I'm not worried about it coming off. I even tried to pull it off and it took a LOT of force to get it to come off.

All but one too big for a cat's mouth
I have only been able to use one out of the 4 in the set since the others are too big to comfortably fit in my cat's mouth. The one that I do use can't hold more than one pill and I have to give my cat 2 each day so I have to load it twice and try to keep my cat from running off while I putting in the second pill. No matter how I do it my cat, who used to adore me, now avoids me and even runs from me because he hates being pilled. It's sad that the meds that are keeping him alive are ruining our relationship. However, it is a bit easier to use the one pill shooter from this set of 4.

easy to use, more options if u have a cat or dog..
love the colors of it, different method to give ur animals their pills or liquid meds, worth for ur money in the long run.. if u have trouble giving ur pets their meds. use this. trust me. they won't be able to spit it out.. I wish i had this device 20+ years ago. boy that would have saved me a lot of trouble when i had to give the meds to one of my hissy fit cat.. My dogs take to it easy, even now, when they see the device, they know they are not going to win, they just take the meds which makes things so easy, no more back breaking process for me to give the meds to the cats or dogs.

Muy duro material
No lo recomendaría, el plástico es demasiado duro, puede lastimar la boca de la mascota además de que hace más difícil mover el émbolo para la administración
