3Ina The Stick Highlighter 400

Jumped at the chance to purchase this vegan highlighter stick due to the very reasonable price, but the product arrived slightly damaged. The bottom half of the 3INA makeup box housing the highlighter itself was torn right open, and the makeup inside the tube had lodged itself into the lid. Though I managed to place the stick back into the retractable screw inside the tube, the condition it arrived in will make me hesitate to buy here again. Once that fiasco was over, I have used the highlighter sparingly over the tops of my cheekbones and am pleased with the subtle gleam the makeup provides: only a little is needed in each application, which is also good value for money.Overall I am mollified that the highlighter at least provides a nice glow to finish off my makeup, which is what decided me for not returning - but I am nonetheless very disappointed that it arrived damaged.

This is my day-to-day highlighter now, it stays in my everyday makeup bag and I use it just on my nose and cheeks most days.I like that it's individual, I think a lot of products try to be a highlighter and a contour in one but this is my favourite highlighter.The colour is strong enough that you see it in light but it doesn't stand out that I have a lot of makeup on, it's very delicate and looks natural if applied with one stroke across my cheekbone.I've been using it for about 8 months and doesn't seem like it's going to be running out any time soon so I think its great value.The added advantage that it has a nice smell to it. Would recommend to a friend.

This is the first highlighter I have used that is subtle but definitely present! 3INA have done it again!It’s a gold colour in the tube that goes on gold but can be blended to almost translucent with a lovely subtle shimmer. You can apply as much as you want to create as much shimmer as you want. The product itself feels lovely on the skin-it’s soft and isn’t harsh. It lasts well and washes off with cleanser or a reusable make up wipe and water. I’d consider this good value for money as it will last.The highlighter stick is Paraben-free (Parabens are chemical preservatives that may irritate skin especially if you have a preexisting skin condition and they are associated with but not proven to cause some nasties). 3INA are also vegan and cruelty-free.If you want a good quality highlighter that is well priced and subtle, this is for you!

This stick highlighter works like a lipstick, but on your face. Apply to the area you want to highlight then blend and smooth with either your fingers, or preferably a pad or sponge. The result is a subtle pearly glow that catches the eye, lifts your face visually and can be made to shape and accentuate.Something that detracts from the experience a little is the small amount of product you receive. Wind up the stick and the actual highlighter part is only 19mm high - most of the 85mm long stick is hollow! That said, a little product goes a long way. The cruelty free and vegan aspects are good, but bear in mind also that behind the headlines, this product contains various chemicals, including aluminium starch. There's a move towards more natural cosmetics these days, and opinions vary on whether this ingredient is a worry or not. It's worth doing your own online search to make up your own mind.The overall feedback I'm given is that it's easy to apply and work, and that on a visual level at least, it's a useful addition to a makeup kit. This is a very nice product that comes in a twist up tube, like a large lip stick. It is easy to apply and blends really well, having a soft cream texture that glides on smoothly. The colour I got seems to be a lot darker than it looks on the stock image, and I am not sure if it is the same colour in the image, or if it is just a natural variation in the product, but the one I received was a bit beige in hue and seemed more like a contour shade rather than a highlighter and it worked better for me as a contour. I do have very pale skin, but the product I was expecting appears lighter in the images provided.The biggest issue about this product, which is a shame, is that it is misleading with how much product there is, as it is only 5g, but from the size of the tube, you expect a fuller tube of highlighter, maybe about 20g... but you literally don't get much more than what you see in the image once your twist the tube up. so at over £12, it is actually quite excessively priced. Even boasting the vegan credentials don't seem to justify such a high price... I would not buy it at this price for the small amount you get, even though the product is very good.
