This book has good content and is easy enough to understand for a kindergartener. Your child may need help writing in answers where the activity calls for it. I feel like it's a good supplemental workbook but maybe not a complete social studies curriculum in itself. We're planning to use it with Beautiful Feet Early American History curriculum so it'll work well for covering other areas of social studies that aren't just history.

I homeschool my son and he is doing great with this book. It is in black and white but it isn’t a big deal really for us.

Most kindergartners haven’t learned to read or write yet, but this is an extremely text heavy workbook. It does not seem age appropriate at all.

Based on the review photos I was excited for a colorful book. Unfortunately they must have switched to black and white and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be as interesting to my kindergartener.

Very easy to follow.

I bought the companion workbook for my second grade granddaughter and she’s not having any difficulties with it at all, but this one is asking Kindergarten kids a lot in my opinion. My K granddaughter cannot even comprehend half of what this book is saying never mind complete the assignments. It isn’t written on a K level. I’ve given up on it completely and don’t recommend it for anyone trying to teach the subject to kindergarten students.

Due to covid we are half time homeschooled, so I decide to order this book for my daughter, the book lessons are SO simple, I'm relearning everything too. The work moves on and expands slowly so there is a lot of practice pages. My daughter loves her new book and I will definitely recommend this book to anyone. Great workbook!
