Not like the old one

I got my hopes up when I saw Doritos 3D on a shelf. Many of us may remember when they used to make those (during the early 2000s I think it was?) back before they simply disappeared one day. They were actually surprisingly good in fact. Many of us enjoyed them a lot more than the original flat chips and were sad when they eventually just went away.These are not those. The original "3D Doritos" were almost as tall and wide as a normal Dorito chip, but of course "3D" in that they were sort of spire shaped and puffy. These are still somewhat like that, but much smaller in comparison so more inclined for bits to stick together during whatever cooking process they used and turn hard (which probably happened some on the old ones, but definitely not as much.) What's more, for some reason they've decided not to make these new 3D Doritos available in the normal flavors, but for some reason only offer super spicy alternatives that vaguely taste somewhat like the original flavors but with heavy spices added that first wreck your mouth and then wreck your stomach. Alright, I get that some people might like a spicy variety of Doritos and enjoy such spiciness and I'm fine with them offering that, but this wasn't the product to offer it in -- or at least not yet -- and it doesn't even make sense that they'd offer a seemingly nostalgic product and then change it in virtually every single way, including the taste.Regardless, these definitely are not the 3D Doritos you remember. I wouldn't suggest getting too attached to them as they're aimed at a niche market that doesn't exist.

I bought these at Walmart and they taste pretty good! The problem is they physically hurt the insides of my mouth, the skin part near my teeth.

These are pretty good. The flavor is ok. However, make them a regular chip not puffy.

These chips taste great . Cool bag but the price ..lol ..$20 for a bag of chips walmart has it for $4
