Not impressed. The stand has a good powder coated finish but it’s ruined by lack of attention to detail. Why are there so many unused screw holes in the stand? Why does the lid of the iPad cover swing down and damage the paint on the stand? Why is the locking mechanism so cheap on such an expensive product? In addition, part of my locking mechanism was just totally missing so I can’t actually close the iPad cover or lock it. This is decent manufacturing quality and LAZY product design. Amateurish and not at all worth the money. BEWARE: Many of the reviews for this product are for a completely different product with a narrow pole stand. This review is for the stand with the wide, flat front base. These unscrupulous sellers are substituting a new product onto an existing account with positive reviews.

The product looks good, but it is missing parts, I called customer service, but they don't even have an idea, but they promote their name in the instructions, and the manual is difficult to read. Suggest to do not buy this product or ger another alternative

My company uses iPads as kiosks for many retail locations and we needed a good looking, completely enclosed solution for the new iPad 10.5 7th Gen. This one from CTA Digital is pretty much the only one. I've bought a lot of different CTA products and they are top of the line for design, but the locks are always an issue. For this one, I wish that there were better instructions. This is a multi-tablet design, that uses foam inserts and plastic covers to fit a variety of tablets. But there are literally no instructions other than a couple small labels, none of which say iPad 7th gen (Thank god I knew that the 10.5 iPad Air was close enough). So what's the big problem? The lock broke on the first use. Literally the first time I secured my tablet. I thought I was screwed. But then I found a horrifying solution, which meant I figured out how to bypass lock, easily, with no tools, in about 15 seconds. Now, I don't want to detail what the bypass is, as if you don't know how the lock works, you might not figure it out. But now that I know, I can open any of these stands in seconds and have the iPad out with no damage or even evidence. The actual stand is really nice, looks great, very stable, but if the security of the stand is key, do NOT buy this stand.
