Durablity is great
Paper straws are killing me, and metal straws have a lot of downsides and are terrible for parties. I left this straw over 12 hours in water and it still worked. Recommend by a bartender friend and they are great.

The best compostable, reusable straws
These straws are sturdy, strong, and resist cracking when pushing through slushie/milkshake lids. It did survive a trip in my dishwasher so, impressed.

Finally a great plant based straw BUT....
So I actually LOVE this straw and my team and customers do too. Feels like a slightly textured plastic, cool speckled look, lasts for entire drinking time. But....Dang, firstly, why is the long straw so SKINNY?! I have to make smoothies thinner to be able to suck through it. But works great for juice. Yes, I read the reviews and dimensions and still didn't believe it, so it is my fault, but be warned if you are like me.Second, why is the paper wrapper so tight and soooo hard to rip off?! When I tear away the paper it is so tight but the paper is so fragile that I end up with a mound of tiny bits of paper on the counter. So I tear for my customers because I can see it now - white "snowy bits" all over the floor. There is actual resistance as you slide the wrapper off the straw.All that said, I would "suck it up" and buy them again and again.

Made from Agave and still durable!
I usually don't review stuff but I think this one specifically deserves it. I am a big fan of their cocktail and large straws, I use them all the time, so I decided to buy the cutlery set since it was their new product; all I can say is wow, they not only look good, but also they are strong, I can even say stronger than plastic ones! The whole set is perfect for picnics at wineries for us! Cheers

Nice paper alternative
I really like the fact that these straws hold up well and don't get soggy or leave a strange taste like some paper straws. My only concern is the price point. If the bulk size packs become available with free shipping then I'll buy the large pack.
