CHAMPROOptimus MVP Chest Protector

I spent the money and invested in the quality 9-12 year old sized All Star S7 Axis catching set. Unfortunately, like most catching sets, the shin guards and mask fit perfectly, but the chest protector was waaaaay too big. It comes with a 14.5” chest protector. I even tried the one size smaller 13.5” All Star chest protector but it was still too big.I was very reluctant to order the 12” Champro, but it is perfect. Perfect size, just enough padding, and my 9 year old loves it. We removed the Velcroed on groin pad and stuck it on his other shoulder to have two shoulder pads. Highly recommended for smaller or “normal” sized 9 year old catchers.

The padding is nice and thick and covers all the right areas.

Cheapest one we could find but it turned out to be great quality. Worked well for our umpire.

Big and great for the price and has flat chest and needs to be broken and fitness but otherwise it will fit and is comfortable

Fits well and has plenty of adjustability. Has been working great at several ball games now.

I love the fit but was really hoping for a chest protector with the goin protector included.

Came loose in a box with price tag but without the groin protector. If this was returned, it should have been checked to make sure all 3 of the velcro removable parts were present and placed in a sealed bag. If these products are just stored loose in a bin, more attention should be placed on, ensuring all the parts go into a box before shipping. Very disappointed!
