IglooMaxcold 40-100 Qt Commercially Insulated Coolers

Overall I'm impressed by this cooler. It keeps things much cooler than expected for a cooler at this price point.On the recommendations of the other reviews I immediately replaced the hinges and latch with 3D printed replacements. If you have access to a 3D printer I recommend searching Thingiverse for Igloo Max Cold latch and Igloo hinges. If you don't have access to a 3D printer go ahead and make the purchase for replacement parts when buying this. You'll be thankful they're there when you're out camping!This fits well in the back of my Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and stands up to the abuse from going camping and on other outdoor adventures. I've taken this camping in 90 degree weather and had no issues keeping things cold over 2 days.

I just upgraded to this 5 day cooler from a 3 day. It is excellent. Only took it on a 3 day trip so far but after 3 days my bag of ice was still frozen and the cooler was very cold! This was kind of a test run before some longer trips we'll be taking this year and I'm 100% comfortable this cooler will keep our food for 5 days no problems. I'll use a block of ice on the longer trips instead of a bag of cubes like this time and that will stay frozen even longer so this is absolutely going to be effective for 5 days without a problem.

After watching more than a few cooler shoot out videos online, I decided to save my money and go with a cheaper cooler. My rational for this, ultimately, was that I'll probably never need to keep things cold for more than a day, or a weekend at most. Getting a super pricy, super fancy cooler just felt like overkill, considering how infrequently we use it. My recommendation is to watch some videos that compare models in this price range, and then watch some videos that compare models in the premium range. Consider your needs, and make a good decision. For us it was a cooler that would keep our stuff cold for a weekend trip at most. This fits the bill perfectly.Only complaint is that the latch on the door feels flimsy, but this thing still keeps ice icy for 3+ days.

This is a nice cooler. It keeps cold decent. I like the locking latch. Some of the igloo coolers don’t have a good latch. This one has a metal hinge and locks tight. It’s seems like a good cooler.

I purchased a Coleman upright Ice Chest last year upon the advice that Coleman was better than Igloo. I disagree after purchasing that Ice Chest. I purchased this Igloo Upright Ice Chest Max Cold to have mostly for emergencies/increment weather, trips to the grocery store in Texas heat, and for vacation. The two chests are different as night and day; the hinge is more durable/sturdy, the lid raises up while the handle does not interfere, and the wheels are a little larger and the ice chest rolls nice empty, so I know it should roll nice when full. After I take my first trip with it, I will add more and a picture. Impressed!!

Bought cause was supposed to best as good as Yeti.......No way!!! Didn't even keep ice for two days and it wasn't summer yet......Save your money!!!

Good storage box but not a cooler. Filled it with ice in an air conditioned hose 70 degrees. In the morning ice was gone and the box not even cool. Then filled it with ice and frozen food, by noon the ice was gone and the box not cold. Ended up filling it with ice in the morning, more ice at luch and once more before the stores close. It is a nice storage box but it is not a cooler.

Still in the early stages, I like the size, the price, the large & long handle .....

This coolers reputation proceeds it. I wanted a 50 quart cooler, I did not want to pay the outrageous price for a YETI or other similar cooler. If I can get 5 days of ice retention, it is all I need, and saved $250.00 doing so.
