Not 8 mil gloves and nothing on the box notes the mil thickness of these gloves.
Buyer BewareIf your buying these because they're 8 mil as opposed to the 4 mil thick gloves which easily rip, they're not.The only way to compare since it's not noted on the box is to weigh a 4 mil box of 100 and a (supposedly) 8 mil box and they weigh the same.Adenna get your act together certainly the time for it.You would think if you sold a superior product like an 8 mil thick glove it would be printed all over the box maybe even on the glove itself yet not a mention anywhere of what they are in regards to thickness. Not a time to mess around no cop or jailer wants to search someone wearing gloves that rip.Amazon please vett your p.p.e. sellers to insure they're selling exactly what they describe and or advertise.

Fits TIGHT, go at least a size up!
These are great gloves. Flexible yet very resistive to punctures.Note though, that the sizing diagram can't possibly be right. My hands are about 87mm wide (as measured like the diagram says), which indicates a SMALL. I guessed (correctly) that the diagram was wrong and I instead ordered a MEDIUM. The medium turned out to be pretty tight! I would not say they are unusable, but when I close my hand, I can feel the glove stretching a bit and trying to pull my hand back to an open position. It really depends on what you're looking for. After all, these are 8 mil. If you want tight fitting gloves without restriction, and are less concerned with punctures, maybe go with 5 mil.I have since ordered a LARGE and that gives me the thickness I want with less restriction.

Very good gloves at 6.5 mil, advertised as 8mil
These are great glove at a good price. They are hard to rip when stretch, i didn't do chemical test but at 7mil, it should be fine. All gloves brands vary in thickness. These are very close. Think of 8 mil as 2 average human hair thickness. These gloves are thick enough at .14mm which is 7 mil, each mil is 0.0254mm. I cut the gloves in half to measure only 1 side which is .14mm They are probably 8-8.5 mil at the finger tips.Raven glove was my go to but they are exspensive now and these are way thicker. All gloves rip at some point and it depend on your environment too. There is too many reviews who say this is not 8 mil but they can't prove it, they are all talk and misleading. This is as close to 8 mil as you are going to get. You want a true 8mil gloves be prepared to spend $40+ for that extra quality control on thickness.I highly recomend these gloves for the price. They fit a tad snug. So if you want a slightly loose glove pick a size up. If you want a snug glove pick the same size as always.

8 mil
Did not want 3 mil or 5 mil so bought these supposed 8 mil. Have looked at every side of the box many times and do not see 8 mil or any number mil written anywhere on the box. I am pretty sure I haven't missed something. Hope they are 8 mil.

Cheap, tear easily for 8 mil
Not durable. Other thinner mil gloves last longer and do not tear/breach as readily as these.Sizing is good though. XXL definitely are generous sized.Would not purchase again based on how quickly and easily these tear.Shipped in mailer bag so box was squashed and split open on arrival which makes it difficult to remove gloves in an organized manner. Need to duct tape box back into shape to use top dispenser.

Great protection at half the price
8mil gloves provide significantly better protection from sharp and pointed objects in the metal shop than the 5mil I am used to and with no noticeable loss of dexterity between the thicknesses. I am on my second box and I have yet to break a glove. They seem to be tougher than skin given what I've seen them resist. I do not use them for protection in that regard, only to keep the grease off my hands. But I am not replacing ripped gloves from normal metal shop wear and tear. The HF equivalents cost almost twice as much (only 50 gloves in a box from them).I have not compared between gloves of this thickness but between 5 and 8 mil I can highly recommend the difference 8mils provide.

Touch screen compatible. Good gloves for DIY work
I use these for protection against dirt and grease when doing DIY car repair and gardening. They are not leather so don't expect them to be rip-proof when dealing with sharp edges. That said, I got hours of use when setting concrete pavers before I got a rip. I'm very happy with the value; these are tougher than the equivalent glove from Harbor Freight and about the same price. Also note that you can still use a touch screen with these gloves on!

NOT 8 mil!
It's nice that Amazon provides pre-written text in case all you want to do is click through with a favorable review. Well, not here, buddy. These gloves are heavier than most of the "heavy duty" garbage on Crap-azon, but they don't come close to 8 mil. These measure 4.5 mil, to be generous. So, only lying by about a factor of two. Not bad for cheap chinesium. They say they are made in Malaysia. Who knows.
