Aleppo Pepper-Sourced from Syria 1 Pound

The Aleppo pepper is the best I’ve purchased. It has a small kick to it and adds great flavor to my recipes. The first order I made was delivered elsewhere and I never received it. I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement with no hesitation.

More of a powder than flaked. Good color, flavor. I wonder how it was processed.

This is the best one I’ve tried been eating this type of pepper my whole life. Really good combination with lemon, perfect for tabouli. I put it on salmon along with dried dill cones out like restaurant flavors. Really good get it!

This Aleppo chili powder arrived very fresh and fragrant. Would definitely recommend!

They advertise the bag of spices with the tin, which would be a nice touch. Yeah, false advertising

Heard this was a great pepper on the TV. So I had to try it. Have used a pinch at first…didn’t taste anything, then used a tsp…still didn’t taste anything, used a tlb….then it had a very mild taste. It wasn’t that great! This was on my scrambled eggs! Had used almost half of the package, just to get any taste at all. Not worth it! I then went back to using my regular black pepper.

It's a personal preference only, for my application... The product is evenly and finely ground, and tasty, which is perfect for addition to rubs, cooking and other applications. In my opinion, it is really not for sprinkling over pizza, avocado toast, etc. This was my mistake as I should have investigated the mesh count. So, this will get used as I discover where to apply it, because it's good. Packaging is perfect, shipment went very well and we have purchased many other items from this vendor, and will do so in the future.
