Sometimes when products have such good reviews and so many of them too, I become a little skeptical of the legitimacy of it because many times that means people were sent it for free and aren't being genuine. However, I believe the reviews of this must be legitimate because I recently purchased this product and it works so well for me! Since I was 11 years old I always did treatments on my hair. From Brazilian blowouts to Japanese straightening, I never accepted my natural roots because they're super frizzy. I'm Russian and Syrian but with the kinkiest curls, I included a photo of now and also my natural texture when I was young as it's currently growing out, about half way there so not fully curly yet on my whole head. But basically it tames my roots and makes my curls look pretty without the frizz. I wish I found this product much earlier before I started to process it! I wet my hair at night (shower or with sink water depending on if it's time to wash my hair again) and then apply the product and comb it through my hair and wake up in the morning with lovely hair!

THE BEST!!! My daughter is biracial with very curly hair. I've tried numerous products of various price ranges, high and low, over the last few year, but they never seemed to keep the frizz away for an entire day. Finally, I've found a keeper. This product smells incredibly good, has a good price, and does the job! The consistency is great, without being too thick or too runny, it's spreads very well. I put this in her hair while it's damp, right after showering, and then "top" it with a little castor oil. Keeps her curls looking fabulous throughout the entire day, well worth all 5 stars!!

Did nothing but dry out my hair even more than it is already. I only used it once but I will never buy this ever again.

Smells nice, not overpowering. Feels good, does not weigh down hair. Good as a conditioner, but doesn't really "tame" afro-type curly/fuzzy hair. Gives a little bit of shine without being oily. Good price, as described. Would buy again.

After only using this for a few weeks, my hair is SO shiny and soft! My dry scalp is healthier too. We've had an abnormally dry winter and my hair has been extra dry. I've tried all the leave in conditioners and none of them made a difference like this product. I've used The Roots braid spray and it was miraculous so that's why I tried this. I love that it's not just for after a wash, you can use it on dry hair too! And it smells good!

I have naturally curly hair, I guess 3C/4C, soft, with very curly ends and zig-zag upwards (If I look at just a strand of hair). VERY dry, worse now that I'm 66. When it's so dry, it just sticks out and isn't curly. Add some water or oil, and tight curls. I'm a white Russian Jewish girl.Ok, this is GREAT after I wash my hair with Jamaican black castor oil masque. Minimal, if any, shampoo (using Shea Moisture and I forgot which one).BUT if I apply to dry hair: forget it! Just heavy and sticky. So I put a plastic spray bottle of water on my bathroom counter. I lightly spray, wet, run fingers thru hair til it's damp. THEN I rub THIS through my hair. Now it's much better!I alternate with organic coconut oil. The oil is a bit greasier, oilier, no duh. But also cheaper. I'll keep using this. But get another brand next time. It's ok but not inspiring brand loyalty from me.

I was looking for a leave in conditioner that will soften and keep my hair straight without drying my hair. This is it! I no longer have dry scalp issues, or itching. Many have complained of it causing flaking or making the hair a white tint. Not with me, and I have black hair. I put argon oil on after I use it. By the way, I use it on dry hair instead of wet. I use about a quarter size on my hair since I have short hair. This is really a great product!

LOVE this moisturizer. Makes my hair soft and has a great scent. Only problem is that it does leave a white, flaky residue when completely dry. Either I need to rub it in more or use less of the product. Would still recommend - it's my favorite product for my 4c coily hair.
