Tips from the Master!
Very Good Book! Reading the book was like having a conversation with Mike himself! I enjoyed it!I would have like to have seen a few more tips on actual repairs or things to do to a vehicle to increase the value to sell it!Things like: When washing a vehicle, make sure you open the doors and wash the door frame and door jams to give aprofessional look. or be sure to remove bumper stickers and glue residue to give a clean factory look! or use air freshener sparingly if you over use it, it makes people think you're trying to hide something!Other than that I enjoyed the book very much!

Love the show, the book is OK
Got excited when I saw that Mike had written a book as I love the show so ordered it right away. Overall it is a decent read but nothing earth shattering. Pretty focused on the UK market as you might expect but quite a few of the cars he talks about are available here in the US although a lot of them aren't. I expected there to be a little more of the insiders view to wheeling & dealing but it seemed a bit light on that.

Take a pass....
There’s little to like here. It’s a vapid little volume with a few autobiographical details about Brewer, scant information in the car profiles, lots of stock photos, and advice that you can get for free elsewhere. Save your money, or—if you need a Wheeler Dealer fix—buy instead Edd China’s autobiography that’s full of detail, often funny, and occasionally inspirational. There are lots of great automotive books out there, and this isn’t one of them.

A Crackin' Read
Anyone who's watched "Wheeler Dealers" knows Mike Brewer's schtick. In this book he compiles the tricks of the trade he's learned over the course of his career, and it's great to have them in one place. I put them to use on a recent transaction figuring I had nothing to lose, and I was pleased to find myself being a "wheeler-dealer" at the end of it.
