The media could not be loaded.  The very first impression - It is a professional one and meant for anyone. Build quality is impressive and the out-of-the-box looks quality product. On a whole, this product is something one would desire if you are into hiking and traveling. I would recommend this product to anyone as it functions pretty well.My 2 cents below:Pros:- It works, at least the farthest possible in my neighborhood from one end to another would be half a mile. The Signal was good and the voice did not break- Voice is clear as well- 22 channels to select from - SOS mode & flashlights are a nice addition to these - Has a battery & signal strength indicator as well along with other settings and channel details it displays. Intuitive & informational overall - Has rechargeable batteries in it with 1200mah capacity & should last for long enough during playtime. Batteries can be charged via other chargers or using the docking station that is included. In an emergency, even non-rechargeable lithium batteries can be swapped when needed - Rugged built with waterproof feature and hence made for outdoor use be it even extreme- Small in size & handy to hold- They bundle every possible accessory in the set including belt clips, cables & even headphones for each of the 4 devices- Comes very reasonably priced- Comes in nice packaging & is a giftable item for an outdoor enthusiastCons:- None that I see as if now for this quality & the price

I am a light user and use walkie-talkie when I travel only.Further comments are below:Things I like about this product:- These sound good & works well without connection drop. Not comparable to very high-end sets but for normal use, these are good- The battery lasts for multiple days and I am satisfied with it- Rugged design and made to last outdoors- Comes in nice packaging and can be considered as a gift as well- Reasonably priced for the quality and the soundThings that need improvement:- Nothing for nowOverall take: I am happy to have these and for the price would recommend these as well to any family.

I bought this walkie-talkie set for my round trip. We were able to use it for at least 1 mile apart from each other. I tried it in the rain, and it works without any issues. The SOS alert is helpful in case someone gets lost. The headset function is a big plus, I can still hear very clearly even in a crowded area. The rechargeable battery is a good idea, and I can also use a disposable battery in case I need to. It also has a very nice grip with steady material. Overall, I love this walkie-talkie.

I like the units and plan to keep them. The controls take a little time to learn and use. I can’t give them the last star because the on-off switch is annoying. Even though the batteries are charged, the units hiss and beep loud enough to wake us up during the night. For me in my regular small city area...all I could get was 1/2 a mile?! Not good. I plan to use them at a campsite where we sometimes are a bit separated from family rigs. No phone reception but these walkie talkies should be ok. The on off knobs and volume controls on other brands are better. Not a deal breaker. Thank you.

Went about 1.25 miles over minor hilly terrain.

I've been stocking up on walkies because there has been way too many cellular outages lately and I wanted be able reach important people during times when there's no service. The range on these units are relatively good, I get at least a mile in city limit and a lot further in the country, which is good enough for me. Battery seems to last quite a while too.

You will not be disapointed. Did a lot of research prior to settling on these. They are great for raining days. We have 5 acres, wooded. These keep the family in touch where ever we are. The children get one, mom, and dad too.The battery life is great. Charging is a breeze. Multi channels is great for adults to talk on one, and kids to adult on another.One was left outside for 2 days in the rain and still works perfectly. Cell service works here for texts but these are faster.The lamp function is used every night to potty train the puppy, and the call button works to get instant attention instead of trying to yell messages from the house across the property.We use them outside to keep the children safe on the playset and keep adults apprised of play.We also use them inside the house for upstairs/downstairs communication.I imagine these will last many years and am very pleased with my purchase choice. I recommend this brand and set of 4 to anyone who wants less stress and a smoother communication process. Recommend.

These are good units but there are some things that drive me nuts. The display always turns off to save battery. I think this is by default but it makes me mad. You never know if the units are on or off. My kids have already left them on many times and the batteries die. Why can't I change this feature so the display stays on at all times? The off button is very fickle. I have held down the button for 20 seconds and the device never goes off. Again my kids do this and then the batteries die. Very disappointed in the items. Wish I could return.
