Well made...
I use these to clamp the tire chains on my Tractor. They work well and seem to be really strong.

The shackle is well made and I used it on my anchor for my kayak.

Alterative to padlocks
The correct size to secure side latches on overhead garage doors from pulling free during hurricanes. And, when stored on the other end of the latch bolt, , can prevent inadvertently latching of an automatic garage door before operating. The u-bolts are much easier to use than fumbling around with locks and just as effective.

Very well constructed.
The tie-down anchors in my pickup bed were nearly useless because they were low profile and difficult to connect a strap or chain to. Problem solved!
