Beautiful, functional, a step up from plastic digital crap.
I've had the silver/blue version of this watch for a few months, so I already knew what I was getting.Yes, these are thick, heavy watches. Yes, they take a day or two to get used to wearing.Yes, they are fantastic looking and simple time-pieces.I'm 6ft and around 300 lbs - this watch looks like it fits me, unlike a G-Shock that appears more like a kids watch on my wrist. That might be a consideration when buying; are you going to look like you're wearing a watch or a dinner plate on your wrist. The weight isn't really an issue after a day or two of wear; to be honest, it's not overwhelming, just different after wearing plastic digital crap for so many years. The function is so simple and intuitive that the watch doesn't even come with an instruction booklet. My Rangeman g-shock came with it's own novel.Get the watch, prepare to receive compliments, get on with the days work.

Baddest watch on the planet
I just received my venom reserve combat watch. It’s all black for a more stealthy look. Now I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, but they were saying the watch is uncomfortable or hurts their wrist. If you’re used to a big watch then you’ll be happy if you’re uncompromising in looks and taste you’ll be happy. I had it on for 15 min. Went to 7-11 and had three compliments in the store. I still have it on. The fit is comfortable, the look is uncompromising and the weight is minimal. Always wanted a venom and finally got one. My new favorite…substantial piece of art on your wrist PS update: Venom is the reining king of watches. No problem wearing it no problem banging it I actually dropped it once straight onto a tile bathroom floor…. No problem there is this though , you’ll be stopped by quite a few people wanting to know what it is. Baddest watch on this planet… yeah

Very impressed
I was at a watch store last week and saw a guy in there wearing this watch...I asked him the name of it and he said Invicta...And he paid less than $200 for it because he had a friend that was able to get it for him at a lower price. I was like that's a cheap ass watch, less than $200?. I don't like spending too much on a watch as I have a few that are expensive, the most being 6K...Tag Heuer but if it is good looking I may reconsider. But a less than $200 dollar watch, can't be of quality. The guy even let me try it on..hella heavy. I didn't know the model but I ultimately found out it was a Venom...So I reviewed it and I bought it via Amazon, which was scary due to potential scam. ...Great watch, it's very heavy and potentially could be uncomfortable for some because the band doesn't flex where it connects to the watch case. But it's not a deal breaker. Just adjust it to a proper fit and adapt. Very happy I got the watch it even had a price tag attached to it showing the cost of $1,995.00...This is an older watch so it may have cost that much 10 years ago. Ether way it feels and looks like an expensive watch...much more than the $259I paid for it. This watch is a beast, not gaudy or ghetto looking. I'm a big guy 6' 8" 255lbs...so this watch suits me . But If your'e a little fella it may be too much for you....just saying.Very pleased 👍
