Incredibly soft. Useful for a thoroughbred to get dust off fine coat but any pony/horse with longer hair don't bother.

Works Great on Pups Too!
Our dog is part Great Pyrenees so basically a huge hairy snow bank. We have to vacuum.multipl times per day! We use this tool to groom outside once a day and the hair comes off in huge tufts! He is more comfortable, I am vacuuming less and the birds are using the hair to line their nests. 100% recommend!

Harder to fold back but prefered as it uses an all metal latch instead of a f
I really like the lock/clasp to fold it. Contrary to other reviewers, I do not think it is easy to trip and unfold it accidently. It latches and then you rotate a lever to lock the latch. I really like that design.The only star I remove is for easy of use, as the clasp/lock COULD be harder to use for people with lesser mobility in their hands. But that design is a upside for everyone else !Durability to be proven as I never had that particular one. If it break easily youll know soon, I brush a herd of Shire horses so it's a lot of brushing in a small timeframe!
