hot switch
It turns the fan on at about 195 degrees. Not what advertised but acceptable

145 degree is perfect.
I ordered a universal fan kit that came with a 185 switch. The car became a little hot before the fan kicked on. Switching to this 145 made the fan kick on when the water starts flowing through the radiator. Thus keeps the temp in the middle. Fan runs more but that's fine with me.

Didn't work properly, and left me with a damaged radiator.
Bought the 200 on/185 off control. It didn't turn on until about 235. Just pushing it in radiator fins wasn't secure, nor was there a method to secure it. Holding it firmly in place by hand, it would cycle 222-230.Both of them were about the same. Tried several areas of the radiator, resulting in several spots of damaged fins.

The thermostat seems to loose its sensitivity fairly quickly.
I installed thermostat in radiator of 69 ford the engine gets so hot the starter will not crank engine until engine cools. The thermostat is supposed to activate auxiliary fan. The thermostat activated the fan the first 3 times and ran the fan for a few minutes. Now after a few uses the fan would only come on briefly. If thermostat turns on at 180 then shuts off at 165 then it is not functioning properly if it turns on briefly. How can my engine cool in a half second.

50/50 of success rate, but the seller came through. Thank you!
I ordered a set of two (190'F On - 175'F Off). The seller sent me the 180'F On - 165'F Off switches instead (which is still fine). But I'm disappointed that only one of them worked. The second switch wouldn't energize. I submitted a request for exchange. So let's see how the seller responds...[UPDATE]I received a replacement switch very quickly. And it is working flawlessly. Thank you!!

Working well for my application
This probe sensor worked for my electric fan installation when two intake manifold sensors did not. The cut in temperature is about 10 degrees warmer than advertised, but that could easily be a variance with my temperature gauge. Getting two probes in this kit was nice. I have a spare on hand.
