AllSpice 3 Ounce Glass Spice Jars with Black Plastic Lids and 3 Styles of Shaker Tops- 18 Pack

I like this product so well I'm willing to write a review. My spice drawer is 9.9ish x 19-inches and less than 4 inches in height. I had previously laid my spices horizontally in two layers and it was always a pain to dig through to find the ones I needed, and keeping them alphabetized was nearly impossible. It was hard to find spice jars less than 4-inches tall, but these did the trick nicely. They will hold around 1.5 oz. of most spices if you CAREFULLY tamp them down. I utilized the same trick I saw another reviewer do by going four across from front to back for nine rows, angling two jars as a 10th row, and then ending with a cantilevered single row from back to front (ending with the non-spice Toothpicks). I was able to get 46 jars in without them being jammed in there too tight. I considered a square spice jar that was 2.1 inches wide but figured I could get more in with the round 1.9-inch ones. The package comes with choices of small-hole shakers, large-hole shakers, and open tops for measuring spoons. My only suggestion would be to have the lids be screw-on flip-tops with shaker holes like most spice jars..flip the top to shake to dispense the spice or unscrew to use a measuring spoon. Sold separately is the labeling system, which is plentiful in choices and has a nice cheat sheet of spices you either have or aspire to get. One suggestion: Before you dump spices into these new jars, write down the expiration date and create an Excel (Word or hand-written) document with expiration dates. With Excel, you can sort for the spices that will be expiring sooner rather than later and keep the list in the spice drawer (upper right-hand side of the picture) or in your cookbook. I've only broken one jar (tamped too hard with the cinnamon sticks) out of the 3-sets of 18 I ordered. They all arrived well-packed and protected and nothing broken.

I love these bottles. Expensive but I needed the shorter ones for my kitchen. One of them is broken but I never let the seller know, I would recommend for sure.

I love these little jars! They keep all spices nicely organized.

These glass jars are perfect for standing upright in a drawer as opposed to taller spice jars that have to lay flat in a drawer. If you are short on space for spices, this is a great solution because you can put more spices in a drawer standing upright than if they are laying flat. The biggest issue with these jars is that the clear plastic lids that allow you to spoon or sprinkle spices don't fit well and don't snap into place. They are difficult to get on and sometimes don't fit at all. Sometimes they sit crooked on the jar (because they are too small and don't snap into place) and then the black lid doesn't fit. This is unfortunate, because this is a unique product and a perfect solution for fitting more spices into a limited amount of space.

These jars (filled with various spices, herbs, seasoning blends and so on) fit NICELY into my otherwise narrow and (previously) very cluttered "spice drawer" in my kitchen. I didn't have the option or the desire to designate a second area to contain my various cooking seasonings and so on. These jars are JUST RIGHT! I ordered 2 sets of 18 count, and this was exactly enough to fit into my designated drawer! I did have some random "spices" left-over that I didn't have specific jars for. I just kept the "overflow" to fill one of the "good" jars when I next use up the contents thereof. Once I have the 36 jars filled, I don't need much more in the way of storage for "spices, herbs, seasonings". These jars are the perfect size for me and I'm really pleased with them! I also like the fact that EVERY jar in the set comes with 3 plastic lid inserts, so that one can "sprinkle", shake out, or measure (a measuring spoon) via different openings. The lid inserts are inter-changeable and fit the jars, although one of them split slightly when I snapped it on. Overall, this is a very useful product that I recommend!
