After reading many reviews with negative connotations particularly referring to the "horrors" of assembly, I decided to order it anyway - figuring that for the price it surely could not be "that" difficult to put together. It was not. I found the instructions adequate and they provided me with all I needed to put everything together. After matching up the parts, including hardware, with what was carefully packaged (great job I should add), it was really a 1-2-3 experience. The only thing I could attribute to some negative comments has to do with the "colors" of bolts and screws in the instructions. The black ones in the diagrams were white and vice-versa. I went with 'size' as opposed to color paying particular attention to the caveat (in several diagrams) stressing the use of properly sized bolts. Not an issue if one follows the directions. As for the drawers, which were of concern within several reviews, I agree - they are "flimsy." But, for my purposes I can live with them the way they are. If I have to reinforce them - I will simply use basswood for the sides and bottom being careful to match the dimensions and all should be fine. I doubt that will be necessary for nothing "heavy" be placed within them. I particularly like the shelf beneath the drawers - another area for storage of the "things" needed while using the table. This product is not an "upscale" piece of furniture - it is a simple and sturdy unit when all pieces are firmly attached. It will function as a flat-surface for measuring, cutting and fitting scenery for my model railroad. Instead of having to use my work-bench in another area of my basement, this desk fits nicely in much closer proximity to my layout. No more "running" back 'n forth to my work-shop and of course having to clear everything off my work-bench, etc. Depending on the intended use and for the price, you cannot go wrong. Having a bit of mechanical ability helps as well. I should add that I did not require the assistance of anyone and I am 87 years old. So, put aside any trepidations regarding assembly. Go for it!

This is a great desk and even greater deal. I just got done putting it together, very easy assembly, only took me about 40 minutes (did it alone and had a peace upside down so had to back track). 2 of the holes weren’t drilled out perfectly on the frame but didn’t prevent me from getting the screws in, and back out when I had to fix my mistake. I’m 6 food and there is plenty of let room, storage drawers are very spacious (photos) and feel sturdy for being fabric. I have seen some bad reviews about damage in shipping, mine was not damaged at all, and even if it was I don’t consider that a reason to ding the company that’s a problem with the shipper. The two panels (main desk and part over the drawers) line up perfectly as well which I know can be a problem with these desks. Bottom line is this; I would highly recommend this desk to anyone that needs a well built, sturdy, nice looking desk on a budget!

On one hand, this product is a nightmare to assemble. The directions are unclear and if you buy it, it will probably take you 2 tries for almost every step to get it right. However, it’s possible to assemble; it just takes awhile. On the other hand, it’s a great product. The drawers do seem to be made cheaply and are fabric, but they are spacious (see picture) and actually look pretty good. The shelf also is useful (it can fit multiple books and a binder with lots of room to spare) and the entire desk is very sturdy. It’s an upgrade from my last desk and I absolutely love it. I’m a college student taking remote classes so I need the space. I was surprised to find out that there’s so much space on top. To give you an idea, it’s able to fit a 13” laptop, a notebook, a small whiteboard, an organizer and a lamp comfortably (see my picture to see how much space there is; I didn’t include the laptop in the picture but it gives you an idea). I highly recommend it and it seems to be of great quality considering the price. Definitely consider buying it!!

I got the black one and it looks great! Pros: The desk top is a semi glossy black wood finish which I think looks and feels great. There was no damage to the wood as others have stated. It was also one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've ever assembled. It took me about an hour and there was never a point where I was scratching my head while reading the instructions. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness of a $130 desk, and admittedly before I had installed the struts and the cross bar, it was more wobbly than I would like, but once I got all the screws tightened and all the bars installed, it is surprisingly sturdy! Cons: The drawers are a little "new age" for me but I've actually started to like them. They are cloth inserts that don't always close properly but they can hold a lot of stuff (including my Quest VR headset). I was hoping the bottom tray would fit my PC but it's too small. However, I was able to use it for another purpose, and that is to hold my big battery backup and my sub woofer. Overall: I would definitely recommend this desk! It fit all my needs, looks super clean, and is pretty darn sturdy.

Great desk. Easy to put together and had extra screws

I found this desk to be too narrow. I thought it would be okay especially since it was long but 55" was still not quite long enough for my two 24" monitors and laptop. The base for my monitors are pretty big and took up a ton of the desk space. I didn't have a lot of leftover room for my keyboard and wrist pad. Putting it together was not too bad if you make sure you have all the parts and go thorugh instructions. ONE TIP I would give is don't screw things too tight at first. Tighten all of them after so you can adjust the legs so they are flush with the floor and not wobble. I didn't do that initially and had to unscrew and wiggle things to get it to be even. Other than it being too narrow, it's not a bad desk. The drawer front was only like a cardboard type cover and the drawer itself was cloth, so make sure that won't bother you.

this desk was easy to assemble, all the parts fit together perfectly, no parts missing, It's very sturdy and attractive the drawers, although not real strong, will hold many objects I got it to sit beside my digital piano to place all my recording equipment on would recommend

Not satisfied. Returned the item due to I accurate information. I ordered this 47 inch desk. The package says 47 inches but the actual length is 37/38 inches.

The setup instructions aren't as complicated as everyone is making them out to be. If you wanted to you could set it up in 30mins . You get one spare bolt of each type. Like many others my package was dumped outside my house with no delivery motivation email. Luckily no raining!
