Q: Will this fit a 3x person ?

Yes and no….it’s been a few years since I ordered this for my husband; the pants fit him fine but the shirt and vest were snug. We ended up cutting slits up the sides of the shirt, which actually fit in with the rough pirate look!

Q: My husband wears a 4X will this fit him?

Depending on how he is built…. The shirt could be a bit snug

Q: What size is this costume?

Usually you get to chose the size, so I am not sure what your question is. I had ordered 2 different sizes to get one for my son and one for my husband. If there’s not a drop down menu or boxes to select the size, then it usually means there is only one size left and it should say.
