Finally! a keto cookbook worth having! I have been so disappointed by keto 'cookbooks' by authors who have an "anything goes as long as I am in ketosis" mentality. I was hopeful when on the very first page it talked about how the keto diet had been around a long time to treat epilepsy. For some reason many don't know that or forget it. The weight loss fad has all but pushed the health benefits aside.For us ... we have been on a clean keto for 3 years, no cheats, can you believe it? We are in for the long run and for us it IS sustainable and totally not boring.The author keeps the "what is keto" to a minimum and I appreciate that. I don't buy keto cookbooks to learn how to keto, I buy them for recipes. I don't need to know every author's slant and take on keto (and probably don't want to) Show me the good stuff! And that is what THIS author does! Kudos!Starts with breakfasts (which I have never thought of making in our air fryer) but now I am! Recipes all look so great and so healthy! Color me impressed here too!! The ones we have tried have worked out perfectly in our Ninja Foodi and so many others still yet to try. So many recipes, so little time! Smokey Chicken (crusted) Pizza? Like the "RealGood: storebought kind? YAAAAASSS!!! AMAZING!! (pictured) Creamed spinach? How did the author know we were JUST talking about that and wanted to make it?? Salami chips? Who woulda thunk it and delicious! And it ends with sweeties!Really. I have been hard nosed about reviewing keto cookbooks, very few excite me, but this one does! I just noticed the author has more cookbooks too. I think I may go peruse them! No regrets here. 5 stars easily.

Handy use of the air fryer for Keto followers...
The first time I saw an advertisement for air fryers, I thought that had to be one of the best ideas for cooking. So I got one but haven’t been able to utilize it enough to justify it. This cook book is ideal for me because the only thing I’d been cooking had been sweet potato fries & other frozen foods. I’m Keto & this cookbook has an intro to Keto & also information for using an air fryer & keeping Keto. There are tips & tricks for using one & that’s simplified things a lot for me.The recipes are arranged in the following categories: Breakfasts, Mains, Sides, Snacks, Desserts & an Index. Each recipe has nutritional information with calories & grams for fat, net carbs, protein & dietary fiber. There are some great recipes included & if other Keto followers run into the same problems I do, not getting enough variety in carbs, then this cookbook has some unique recipes. Prosciutto-wrapped Onion Rings, Cauliflower Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprout Chips, & Roasted “Potatoes” all sound like worth trying. I never thought to use radishes as potatoes so right there, this is giving me some creative ideas. If radishes work for potatoes, I’m going to be thrilled. I currently use cauliflower for mashed potatoes & rice, so I was looking for something a little different. The recipe for the brussels sprouts tells an easy way to separate the layers to look like chips.Just from reading the first of this cookbook, I learned more about Keto & how to use the air fryer so for me, it’s a very useful addition to my kitchen.
