Very good value. We use them for triggering both sound and lighting from laptops for theatre performances. Easy to programme different functions. They may not be terribly robust but they're cheap to replace. We always have a strong are to hand.

Perfect for what it is
It does exactly as expected. I bought 2 and the software recognizes the difference. I use one for ctrl and the other for shift, no more finger gymnastics for hotkeys.The pedal itself is reprogrammed to send the desired ASCII code, so no icue/synapse type bloatware at run-time while using it, and (once programmed) it should work with any OS.My only change for an ideal product would be the quality of the materials/switch, but for the price it's great.

Perfect for push to talk
If you are look for a pedal to enhance your push to talk experience, this is one to go with. Unlike other similar models, this device will allow you to use the software PC Sensor, and setup a "long press". Otherwise the button will act as a single key stroke happening one time, which is then instantly let go, making it not workable for discord.The other benefit to this model is that there is no loud clicking sound when the pedal is pushed down.It feels slightly more fragile than other devices i've tried, but i have a light touch with electronics, so i am not very worried. I will update this review is any damage / failure occurs with use.

app to change hot key is in my review sense there is none on the product page.
im giving this a 4 out of 5. i like it cause its cheap, it makes an amazing push to talk button for discord and its plug and play. i only gave it a 4 because when i plugged it in and pressed it, it was hot keyed to the B key and there were zero instructions on how to change which key it replicated when pressed. i had to google how to change it and came across the application that was specifically for the foot pedal. the app that changes it is called FootSwitch_7.4.4 by PC sensor. device name is FS22-P_V5.7
