You can't go wrong with NOW supplements. They are quality products and the prices are fair. I use the Turmeric Circumin as part of my daily regimen. There is not bad taste and it's anti-inflammatory properties have seemed to help me with some injuries. I used to take a 1/2 teaspoon or turmeric powder in water but the taste is not good! This is much easier

I love this brand of Turmeric Curcumin. I have it on a subscription and it helps reduce my inflammation. I take 2 per day and it seems to work well for inflammation in my body. Easy to swallow and clean ingredients.

This stuff works. I was really skeptical about its anti-inflammatory properties at first, but I thought I would give it a try. I take 200 mg of Celecoxib everyday with Tramadol to control ankle pain (previous talar fracture). However, this pain med combo doesn't do anything for my tennis elbow (moderate to severe). Before using curcumin, I used the old RICE protocol with more emphasis on the rest and ice component. I used ice for several weeks with very little if any long term help. It would calm an angry elbow, but later it would come right back. I thought that I would give this whole curcumin (I was thinking it was snake oil) stuff a go, because I have tried everything else (Nitro patches, NSAIDS, kenalog injections, ice, rest) nothing seemed to be working for me. First couple of days I noticed a remarkable difference in my elbow discomfort, but I dismissed this as just a transient comfort associated with not exacerbating the tendinitis. During the time I was taking the pills I experienced a significantly reduced pain in the elbow, not completely gone, but acceptable. I thought that my tendinitis had run its course and I was back to my old self. WRONG!!! When I ran out of the pills, within several days my elbow started up again. UhhhhhhhhH!!!! So back to Amazon I went to get some more. This time I went with Jarrow's Formula to see if there was a difference (other than price). Since then my elbow is lovin' this stuff. So yea, I agree with the other users that this stuff is actually efficacious. One thing that I did do, and I did some extensive research on this, was that you MUST take this product with piperine (Bioprerine), or curcumin may not work. This was suggested on many of the sites that I viewed before my decision and purchase. It enhances the bio availability of the product by 2000% according to the many who researched curcumin. I am not the type of consumer to just buy the cheapest stuff out there, I care about quality. I am a firm believer that anything that NOW Foods kicks out their door is of substantial quality. Source Naturals seems to be another company, Jarrow's Formula two thumbs up, Optimum Nutrition is a top contender. When I need something fast and don't wanna spend time researching the company to ensure of quality products, the above mentioned companies are always top of my list. From what I have read, supplements are unregulated by the FDA, and these companies can put whatever they want in them. So it is up to us to keep warn and inform others about the products and companies.

I have used this product and take it every day for maintenance purposes, but didn't personally feel any different with it. However, I order this for my dad and have ordered it for my mom. My dad has felt a big difference in his life, from considering quitting squash because of his "sciatica" as he puts it, to playing 3 times a week without pain. My mom also found it helped her pain considerably. My dad was the one who wanted to really try this due to a radio show he heard talking about the benefits of curcumin and turmeric. They mentioned many benefits, including for cancer, etc. Now, my dads mother in law was on her deathbed with cancer, in palliative care, and on many days did not recognize her own daughter. With being told she had but days to live, my dads wife would visit her every day, and would put two capsules of curcumin in her mother's chocolate pudding every day without the doctors or her own mother even knowing about it. She had a huge bounce back from being close to death to where the doctors were considering taking her out of palliative care. According to my dad, the doctors were calling it a "miracle". She continued to live for 3 more months in relative good health until my dad and his wife went away on vacation. She left the curcumin with her sister, who never ended up giving it to her. A week later when they got back from vacation, she fell back into a state where she wasn't eating, and it was too late. She died a few days later. A doctor will look at this and say its not scientific. It seems in this world its not "science" unless you spend 10 years and $100 million to prove that something "works". You can call this anecdotal as much as you want. There are snakeoil salesmen out there, and not everything will work as well for everyone, but experience is the greatest teacher and to me, these few experiences are all the proof I need. I will continue to take this every day regardless of my personal experience because of the reviews I read here and my parents experiences. Also, I don't think there is a better company for the combination of quality and price than NOW products. My dad looked at other companies that were charging 3x more than this for less potency.
