There's a bit of a design flaw. I like that it is rechargeable and has two different light intensities. Magnetic cap poorly designed. You will lose the cap.

Rechargeable via USB is great for saving money on batteries and also much lighter in the pocket. It's also actually two lights, one just right for checking pupil dilation and the other a pretty decent low power flashlight.Edit: I'm still going to give it 5 stars but the pen clip broke off in a couple months. I would pay more for a sturdier model with the same features.

Design flaw: cap comes off very easily! You'd think it'd be secured at least by a quarter-turn and click.

I LOVE this pen light! Having the option to use the warmer light is essential for nurses when examining a patient's eyes so you don't unnecessarily blind them with the LED light. The LED light is great for other exams such as skin checks, etc. I also like that it has a pupil gauge on the side. The one thing I wish could be different was the USB port cap pops off pretty easily. When I have it clipped to my scrub pants pocket, when I try to grab it I end up with just the the cap in my hand. If it was a screw cap it might be more secure. However, the fact that it has two light options, is rechargeable, long battery life and clips to pants are all qualities that warrants the pen light 5 stars for nurses

Easy to charge and works extremely well. We're gifts for two graduating nursing students. Was only disappointed in that they were not the same.

Not going to lie, I was skeptical but I loved that it did not click on top (I always seem to kill my hattery that way) and the battery life has been really good too! I’m a pediatric nurse and use it nearly every shift and can charge it about once a week. So easy to just plug into a computer at work and is fully charged in less than an hour. Get it!

Love this penlight! Price is great and not having to buy batteries is more ecofriendly. Have had it several months and it holds a charge well, only have had to recharge x1.

The flashlight is ok but I wanted the one with the actual switch on it. Wasn't aware they were going to send one with a push top. I'm sure the "cap" that goes over top of it will end up falling off. Not overly excited about the product overall.
